People please start checking before post absolutely everything. $4 off is NOT a bargain.

    • +1

  • Not the cheapest on Staticice once shipping is taken into account.

  • +1

Not a bad monitor but the price is nothing special. I got mine from MSY a couple of weeks ago for $228 which is $8 cheaper if you can pick up. I have heard of long wait times at MSY but here in Geelong I have never had more than 1 other person in store when I have been there.

  • -1

righto righto… take it easy. to me it was a bargain because local pc store trying to flog this for $250.

but in regards to online prices, its cheaper than anything on static ice folks… all those quoted prices are AFTER the cashback.

fair enough that not like half price or something, but still the best price going (and pretty damn good value imo).

    • +1

NO! Can't you read? Both of the shops I linked to were only $4 more BEFORE cashback. It's ozbargain, not ozListEveryThingEverThatsSlightlyCheaperThanEveryoneElse.

      • +1

true that - I think a general rule is that if you're not 10% cheaper than the next cheapest price - it cant be considered a bargain.

      • -1

        really?

well try and click on your provided link in your previous post then and see what comes up!!!!

I think if anyone cant read, its you mate.

        • What comes up is "Acer X243HBMID 24inch 80000:1 Blk Spker DVI HDMI (HDCP)
          Internet Price: $228.00"

          Maybe your blind? Poor thing.

          • -1

@PainToad: hahaha…. no mate, not blind. confused though.

how is it that $228 is cheaper than $224?

after cashback the deal i've posted = $195…. cheaper than ANY online price I've seen (or you've seen).

anyway- mute topic. I bought one, it arrived 26 hours after ordering it. I'm happy.

            • +1

@UFO: God talking to you is painfull. No matter where you buy it, EVERYONE gets the cash back. Thus your "bargain" is only a saving of $4 compared to normal everyday prices at ALOT of other stores. $4 off is NOT a bargain, which is why your deal got voted down. This is what I've been saying the whole time, I just hope you can finally grasp this!!!!

              • @PainToad: Ok- I tried to keep things light, but your tone is becoming more offensive each post, so if you arent going to be polite why should I?

You've obviously got a massive attitude problem, and a terrible grasp of the english language. You seem to blaming me for your lack of clarity or accuracy in your posts. You are the one who wasnt clear in your many posts (by stating that my offer wasnt the cheapest when it was), yet somehow it's my fault. If you read back to my first reply its very clear that I admitted it wasnt a bargain (but still $4 cheaper than anywhere else), but you continue to harp on about it like a complusive twit. Talk about painfull! Yes it's not a true bargain in the sence of OzBargain. I got that. Long ago. You can chop and edit your previous posts as much as you like… but you need to accept that your communication skills are sorely lacking, as were your initial posts about it not being the cheapest price online- which of course have now been edited. Congrats and good evening… post as many times you like in this thread, I wont be responding and wasting any more of my time. You're a joke.

                • +1

@UFO: Hey douchebag, I didn't ONCE say it wasn't the cheapest. I simply said it was the standard price, and has ZERO reason to be on this website. Now that you've finally admitted this, we can move on.

Btw, you never admitted it wasn't a bargain (until now), you simply said "not like half price or something".

As for attacking my "communication" skills, at-least my posts don't look like they were written by a 12 year old with zero capitalisation.

And fyi, I haven't edited any of my posts, take the tinfoil hat off and get a life. Your deal sucked,, move on.

              • @PainToad: $4 cheaper cam be considered a bargain

Acer monitors are terrible, I have two recent ones, and they make bloody loud creaking noises all night with the slightest change in air temperature. In a bedroom this is most unsuitable as it means disconnecting it and resetting up every day. I will never again buy from the bottom of the pile when it comes to manufactures and quality.

    • No prob watso ever on my acer 24"… which was given by my cousin wen he left the country… that was 2 years ago?

    • Both my Acer LCD TV and Acer LCD monitor are both fine.

  • not a deal

  • update: regardless of the negative posts, this is still the cheapest price available for this monitor. I ordered one Thursday lunchtime, and it arrived interstate 4pm Friday. First time customer of Mwave, and going by service level received this time will be a repeat customer. thanks.

  • Negative vote gone? Read the rules.

  • acer is notwhat i would pay for that much man, for that much i could get a LG with USB hub

  • No deal

  • Not a bargain considering you have to wait forever for cashback to arrive and there's shipping as well. For anyone looking for a 24" then the dell here is a better deal: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/27327
