  • Description shows information about Himedia Q10, is this correct?

I bought the R-box for $104 AUD from Aliexpress. It has S912 processor and 3gb ram. Not sure if it's in the same league as the Egreat but $200+ sounds a lot for an android box from china.

    • R-Box is in the budget range of Android Media Players.

Egreat has SATA, USB3, AV, Display and support for Dolby True-HD, DTS etc.

    NVIDIA Shield ?

    • Out of stock at the moment, but I'd pay for an Nvidia Shield twice over before spending this kind of money on something like this.

    • Yeah or Mi Pad with HDMI adaptor and Bluetooth Keyboard, K1 SoC

    • Out of stock …. and rumours of an updated version coming soon.

Can't wait to get my hands on it.

If you get a dodgy Android box for 75 bucks or so that's ok. But 200 bucks might as well get something with some quality.

  • For this money I would rather buy Minix U1

  • Will this pass dolby Atmos using the Android Plex app?

  • Spec is very close to Himedia Q5 Chinese version, same Soc,same wireless N, and very similar look
