Just realised this when browsing MobileCiti.
$498.80 for the phone + $100 eBay voucher when you choose Click & Collect shipping option, which sort of brings it down to "$398.80" if you like.

If you have other things to buy, this isn't a bad deal.

But imo, XL is worth the extra price compared to the 950.

Don't forget cashrewards 1.25% cashback.

    specs are absolutely fine. failure of an OS, on the other hand, i'd pay that (at least in terms of take-up and apps).

      SD808 for $500 is not that great considering you can get MI5s with a SD821 for the same price. Camera is good though. I have not used a Windows Phone since my HTC 8X.

    Agree. MS Store 5% off all items using AOCT5 is better value for those looking for discount on a product without having to spend extra to get a voucher.

    Also cashrewards on MS Store = 4% 🙂

    That's technically true. It's not quite cash, but not store credit at Frank's Pants Emporium either.

    You can find just about anything on ebay, not just frivolous purchases, even if you get toilet paper and shampoo there instead of during your weekly grocery run.

    I'd compare it to a Coles Myer gift card.

  For 950XL in other country, they are all dual sim card..But it seems in AU 950XL is single SIM card..

  Had one and sold mine. Utter rubbish and tired of the slowdowns. Got a Redmi Note 3 and never one lag or issue with it.

  It's telling when they offer free delivery and free returns as listed on their website. Free returns I mean come on…

    Absolutely.

    UI is the only thing Windows Phone has going for it. Otherwise it's like hitting your head on a brick wall when it comes to apps.

    Even the phone's own apps are $#!7 as…the camera app keeps lagging and stuttering, the app store doesn't know how to run downloads in the background…

    Yes it's good hardware and good UI, but overall it's a desolate app wasteland compared to my Nexus 6P, S7 or S6 Edge.

    I've given Windows Phone multiple chances going all the way back to even WP7…but at this stage, I'm calling it quits when it comes to WP. The OS has gone backwards instead of forwards over its life.
