    what a rip!

As someone who's been using this laptop for a couple of years now after getting it for 249 bucks at JB (I think, maybe less?) I can't really recommend it.

Even for the easiest of tasks, it's pretty sluggish. And upgrading it to Windows 10 made it worse. (Downgrading it back to Windows 8 was painful, but now it runs better than it did out of the box at least.)

Either way, can't say this is a good deal. It's regularly cheaper than this, and even then it's still not worth it.

  • Map of business location drawn in paint rather than embedded Google maps.

    Wow.

Oh and there's no chance this is worth $300

  • No deal,

Cheaper many places elsewhere, very basic machine I would recommend not paying more than $200 for, and only for someone that does basic word processing and browsing. Very sluggish machine.

I paid $150 for an Asus Certified refurb (Including shipping)
Did the job quite well for that price, was running some basic timing software for lap timing.

Keep your expectations low people, and try to paid ~$200

  • I bought the white one for $199 during Bing Lee eBay special.

  • Nope.

  • Ummm is no-one else concerned their signup/login pages isn't even over HTTPS?

    LET'S TRANSMIT PERSONAL DATA UNENCRYPTED!

  • I paid $150 for a 6 month old used one and its been the best little lightweight facebook, word, essay uni laptop thing

can only do 10 tabs at once and that's fine for what i paid
9 hours of usable screen on time its like heaven for $150 but sometimes id love a good beefy laptop so i just teamview to my desktop ;)

    but $300 is too much..
