    For those wondering they're $11-12 lower than the RRP ($399 and $449)

        Yeah. same here. With that battery life, probably need arround 10 to get you through the day.

          ive had an apple watch since day one and never ever had a problem with battery life. Lasts around 2 days with normal (frequent use)
          That was my big concern when i bought it. Lasts longer than the battery on the phone for me by far.

          I had a pebble before and that lasted a week, but did nothing so its unsurprising that it lasted hehe.

          @unifex:

          Mine lasts two days of use as well. A quick 20-30 minute charge in the morning is more than enough to last me the whole day while I'm out (12 hours) and then some.

          Got my 42mm for about $370 after cashrewards, very happy with my purchase. Grabbed a milanese loop band off Amazon, love it!

        • @unifex: I got a series 2 and have also found it to be ok. Usually have 50% after using it 7:00AM to 11:00PM.

          One night I failed to charge it and got through a day by sticking it into aeroplane mode, which admittedly disables many of the functions but did get me through the work day by only dropping 25% or so and still allowed me to track a walk at lunch.

          Said only by people who don't actually own an Apple Watch. Never had an issue with running out of battery in well over a year of constant use.

          Wow guys, so defensive. Cant you see I am exaggerated a bit there?
          In all seriousness a watch (at premium price) that need to be recharge every night to me is not practical. There are many of us need to be away from home for more then 12hrs at a time. And a watch is not like a phone where you can plug in leave in your office for few hours or plug in car to top up during the day. I would buy one at a drop of a hat if battery life is 24Hr+. If we ask for it they will make one, if we keep accepting it they will just keep drip feeding it for another decade.

    Anybody knows why the price ranked up so much since the Series 2 came out?

      Think that was a series 0 (as in the original with the original SOC).
      This series 1 got the same SOC as the series 2 but doesn't have the water resistance rating and flasher screen.

    This is the updated Series 1 with dual core processor. The one you linked is the older 1st generation that came out last year.

    • Makes sense ! Thank you!

    • sorry, just read this post.
