      Thanks. We're always trying to find the best ways to short cut to a good hotel deal and I must say it isn't easy! Sydney and Melbourne in particular have had record occupancy recently so there is not a lot of big discounting.

      more than likely can not be combined with amex deals, as last time I checked amex requires booking directly with hotel.

    I can't see why not, I'm not an Amex rep but I don't think Amex would care if it's a full price room or a discounted room, just as long as you met their spend and other requirements. Sorry my mistake there

    From the hilton website, it's $224 on 28th of Oct and also $5 cheaper on 13th of Jan. Where did you get your normally $299 from?

      With the $25 cashback this deal is cheaper. The $299 is the most common price for a room at the Hilton on a Friday night over the next few months.

          Agreed the Amex offer is better for the Hilton and Accor, Amex is actually covering Marriott ($150), Meriton ($100), Oaks ($100) and Swissotel ($50) at the moment also. All travel prices have a time element, the $299 is the current price for a room at the Hilton on a Friday night for most Friday nights over the next 9 months.

    Easiest way if you want to take advantage of this deal and still get the cashback is book through the hotel's website and then fill out the form for a price match.

        If you're staying at the Hilton you can prepay with American Express and get $150 cashback for every $300 spend.

    Again, checked Accor website for pullman on 28th, $219 including breakfast - combine with amex deal and you have a winner.
    hotel.com.au is $219 without breakfast…

    How does the cash reward work? Do we have to email our bank details? Is it simply the reservation number or do you need all of our details? Do you have a link for your website where it explains this cash rebate?

      Yes, please email the hotel booking confirmation number and your Paypal or Australian bank details to [email protected] to have the cash reward processed.
