[Liverpool NSW] BigW 1.5TB HP External HDD - $123

71

hi all,
ok so looking for an external HDD for a while and just waiting for the $100 1TB external HDD's but saw this in the BigW catalogue. Its a HP external HDD so not sure how good it is but hopefully its ok. It states it can backup your HDD but don't think it can restore a faulty HDD if you needed to restore your HDD, thats what I use norton ghost for but yeah of course you can back up your files in general to this HDD.

Ok why its a bargain as well too, well going by the catalogue its $138 but I bought 2 (at Liverpool, NSW) and the total was $246 thus charged only $123 so its got a bit of discount for it.

From BigW
1.5TB hard drive. Instant hands free backup. Automatically backs up your PC when you plug it into your USB port. 2-year warranty. What it holds up to 660 hours DVD or 375,000 MP3s or 300,000 JPGs

Hope this helps you all :)

  • So, assuming you only got them for $123 because you got two, the Samsung 1.5TB from MSY would be better than the $138 from Big W for the HP….

I think it was a pricing error.

I have not heard of automatic discounts at stores like big w

More likely to be a competitive price drop or a manager's special than a pricing error.

I haven't heard of Big W doing discounts for multiple buys but then again I think they use the same tills as Woolworths and Dan Murphys who do it all the time, so they have the capability.

It's simple enough to check if you're already in the shop: take the box to a price check scanner.

  • its a duplicate of this, although the price may need to be updated

If its the price you paid $123 each, you need to post a copy of the receipt as proof of price. As the advertised price is $138 in the bargain I already posted. With no proof of the cheaper price you paid.

      • I didnt buy one, perhaps you mean to be telling this to the poster of the deal

think its a duplicate because its the same hdd from the same place

personally i wont buy HP or acer anything……

No worries usually a deal is with evidence as word of mouth doesnt tend to work that well, props for having a go though

I wasnt actually having a go at you, just making sure it wasnt the same deal so others wouldnt be put out by not being able to get the same price
