Hard… they always find excuses such as
- diff colour
- not for item in promotion
- the near by shop selling that item is 10km away
- they only have demo / display set which not allow to sell
- don't do it for online only itemI stop pricematch at officework for a long time… 80% can't get it
Seems to depend on which one. I've had much more luck at Blacktown price matching than at Castle Hill where they get rude if you ask.
are these tablets ok? would it be a good replacement for a nexus 7 2012 tablet?
The reviews on Amazon are mixed up with the older Tab A 8" (4:3) models which have a decent processor in them. I'm actually concerned about the processor in this model (2016 7") as Samsung does not actually state which processor is in them and GSMArena has found at least two variants that contain a rather good Snapdragon 410 (4 x 64bit A53 cores) or the really really dodgy Spreadtrum SC9830 (4 x 32 bit A7! Cores). PhoneArena also thinks it might be an Exynos 3705 (another pretty poor chip A7 based chip).

in theory, Samsung does say this Aussie version is rated at 1.3Ghz which is likely to indicate the Exynos 3705. Any place where I can load up CPU-Z or something to check it out at a store before pulling the trigger?
Tried it at the local GG store and No thank you.. very laggy even with nothing on. Definitely the inferior chips in these hence the price.
Do you think officeworks would price beat this?
