May be of use to some. I've used Norton recently and didn't have any issues.

  • have you tried buying it. It doesn't say cash back on Norton site and there is No coupon code for it.

    • That's correct. However I've never seen a notification (at the retail site) nor coupon for cashback via cash rewards.

Just a reminder, the price is in USD, and when you pay, you're automatically subscribe to automatic annual renewal service.

    Norton Automatic Renewal Service

This Norton subscription purchase includes Automatic Renewal Service. At the end of your subscription period, the Service will be renewed and your Credit Card will be charged the then-current renewal price (plus applicable taxes) automatically, without any additional action by you. At any time after your purchase, you may change your subscription settings, including cancelling your automatic renewal, at manage.norton.com

You have to un-set the automatic renewal service manually, if you don't want to.

Any statements to back that up? PC Authority, APC, and Techlife regularly review Norton as a top 4 product together with Bitdefender, Trend Micro and Kapersky and use their own labs to test as well as av-test.org.

Norton is found to have 99-100% detection rates both known and 0-day on all these reviews, together with the LEAST amount of resource usage out of those four.

No, I don't work for Norton, just statements like yours putting a product down, having NOTHING intelligent to add to this post, which seems like a legitimate saving, just thought you'd comment and be a complete and utter TROLL is very disappointing.

Please respond with your legitimate opinion for people NOT to make use of this post, and don't quote anything pre-2008 (yes I know Norton was a dog at that stage hence it was 80% re-written in 2007, with further enhancements over two years to make it "zero impact" by 2009).

      Otherwise have a coke and a smile…..
