Yes, even though it's 3G only, it gets B28…

*3G not available in all areas.

That will definitely make using the internet more difficult if it is only 3G, would want at least 4GX

    Anybody knows about the battery.

It hold charge, and is stored in the phone

      I believe it's even rechargeable

      • I mean how long they last, my last nokia used to last for 2 weeks.

Last Telstra locked phone I had didn't work with Aldi. Not sure if this the rule across the board.

  • Is this locked to Telstra or just Telstra branded?

    • I believe it's locked

It's a nice little phone. Got a couple on an earlier deal.

Yes, locked. Unlocked them both successfully using dc-unlocker for 7 euros each I think from memory for those interested. I needed mine for Aldimobile. I had tried earlier a few ebayers advertising they could unlock it but they couldn't.

    • Great work and a lot of effort put into this deal.

    • +2

So the unlock code costs more than the phone.

      • $2.15/22 on ebay. Search for the listing "Almost All ZTE Unlock Code ZTE Maven Z812 Locked to AT&T Network all".

  • no stock everywhere

    • Probably not much stock left after being on sale so many times.

1 store showing in stock near 2000 (HN @ DM North Ryde), 1 near 3000 (Coburg), none near 4000 postcodes (of 8 stores per postcode).

Of course stock may show on system, but not exist.

    • Showing in stock at Tweed Heads and Loganholme.

$9 is normal price at BP I think

  • If just for receiving and making a call, it's very good in term of battery and signal reception. However, couldn't figure out how to turn off useless 3G in this phone.

  • Handy for any upcoming "Trade in any working phone and save $xxx on abc phone!" deals from JBhifi :)

  • this can be used to get two goodguys $25 coupons

    • hasn't that coupon deal expired ?

I hope you have a good memory, because that camera isn't going to be recording much.
