Kleenex is absolute shite 👎 (no pun intended) lol

    • +3

Regardless, Coles should not get away with misrepresenting the discount…

  • Personally I prefer the cottonelle and at $10 for a 32 pack it's quite a good buy. They usually have it at $12 so $10 is good enough to stock up

You couldn't pay me to eat these new pringles.

    • +8

Yea, those made in Malaysia pringles are terrible.

      • -7

        umm… racism?

        • +7

          How is that racist?

        • +1

          @goatcorn:

        • ey SJW brah, It's doesn't called racist, Its called a corporation greed to maximize profit

    • +2

      say no to pringles

      hint: A… L..k..e

    • +1

Yes, they are terrible. Not only smaller but they are hard rather than crisp. Terrible.

  • What size ice-cream tub is it or Variety.

    The Gaynetto isn't very tasty

    • Love my gay time but not in a cone

      • Having a cone is how I get through my gay time

        • Sometimes I have a gay time then maybe a cone afterwards.

    • It does taste a bit bland.

  • Long time since you've posted the grocery specials, great work!

  • +2

Could you please check the price on Cadbury Medium Bars. $2 is around full price.

  • Crazy Dragon Park Dumplings? Is that a new flavor?

  • +1

275ml cans? Do you mean 375ml? Standard can size yeah?

  • -7

Half this crap has already been on sale from last week.

    • +9

Really? Care to list the 29 items you speak of please?

      • I see both sides of the logic here.

Both supermarkets are now offering more half price deals than ever before which is great for consumers.

However, these half price deals are of products with jacked up regular prices which is misconstruing the 50% saving.

        • +3

Why do you always have something negative to say on TA's deals?

        • @Clear: Do you understand where I am coming from? Regular items have been price jacked allowing the supermarkets to have half price items on a weekly basis. That's what I read from the negative voters comment.

        • +4

          @ShamelessBargains:

half price items on a weekly basis

Savas once made a WW post with the last time the items were at the same price, and using a Ctrl+F for the terms 'week', 'month' and 'year' shows that only 6 items were half price in the last 1-3 weeks, the remaining 36 items were last half price over a month ago, so it isn't as bad as what Normie suggests.

        • @lyl: Hmm I didn't realise, that thread was a good read. It also shows how competitive the supermarkets have become especially with Aldi and Costco in the market.

        • +2

@Clear: +1 regarding Shameless continually being negative towards TA's deals. I have noticed the pattern :/

          @ShamelessBargains:
I have also noticed….the little green monster has come out for Halloween.

        • @nocure: Hey I am unhappy with Shameless being negative towards TA, the +1 was to agree with clear.

      Coles 2/11: 32x Kleenex Toilet Paper $10, 16x Ferrero $6, Pringles $1.90, Lynx $3, Lavazza $15, Mars Ice Cream $4, 24x Pepsi $9

      Price History:

      Kleenex Cottonelle $10
Coles - last time $10 was Nov last year
      WW doesn't have 32pks

      Ferrero $6
Coles - last time 1/2 price was $6.3 in Aug (never been $6)
WW - last time 1/2 price was $6.3 in Jul (never been $6)

      Pringles $1.9
Coles - last time 1/2 price was $2 in July (never been $1.9)
WW - last time 1/2 price was $2 at start of month (never been $1.9)

first three items of title (i.e. the main deals) suggests otherwise

      • Coles have the Kleenex for $12 almost every other month, theyre usually $16 in store but over $17 online (because Coles charge more for some items online)….As someone who prefers the kleenex I often stock up when they are at $12 so $10 is a good price but I only see it as saving $2 since $12 is so regular

Like what's the point in it, we all see it in store or catalogue. Why bother posting

      • That's alot of linking effort for a comment

    • +1

Well at leat its relevant to actual stores we can visit not just some random online-only deal that fills up so much of Ozbargain's space.

24 pack Pepsi Cans is $11 in SA (usually $23), then get $2.40 worth of recycle refund therefore the cost in SA works out cheaper than the eastern states.

    • I can never be bothered. I'd rather lose $10-20 a year to be saved the trouble of going to the recyclers.

  • It looks like the ZTE Zip has been rebranded as the Shout. Identical specs.

  • 17c/100 sheets is a bloody good price!

    • but they are single ply.

  • What in the actual happened at the top of this thread? Worrrrd
