$3.75 is good for the spinach pizza but no way are they worth the normal $7.50.
They have to be half price coz I bet no one buys at full.

Our secretary says she saw heaps of their Fungi (sp?) at RitePrice (where unsold food goes to be sold a bit cheaper.
(They were ~$2 each she tells us)

      • Is she hot?

        • +1

Not all secretaries are hot.. Better first question is probably "how old is she?"

          @illumination:

          Not all secretaries are hot

          That's why they asked…

        • +3

@illumination: hey, we aren't the type to discriminate with age here at ozb.

        • @illumination: Only marginally…

A truly better question would be one asking about the pizza or store.

      • I bought the Funghi ones at 2 for $3 at NQR… I bought about 10 of them, and they were awesome!

The McCain equivalents are currently half price ($3.50) at IGA. Prefer those to the Dr Oetker's creamy/sloppy cheese toppings; bit of a love it or hate it thing I guess.

    • ohh, McCain (Tandoori Choicken) $3.5 @ IGA?

    • +1

Never eaten McCain again since that story of that guy who go home to find a flattened rat in his base lol

      • find that hard to believe, I guess its the same person that was eating KFC one night, looked at it and it was a mouse all cooked and crispy. yeah sure.

        • Serious, it was on today tonight or ACA, they showed the base and the rat was so flat it was level with the base

@TRENT86: Oh, well, given that it was featured on such a reputable program, winning countless awards for investigative journalism, it simply MUST be true.

        • @timwog: Lol well they did show it so it was clearly real and fkn feral

homebrand pizzas are even better at 2.70.not like the old ones, nice thin crust and o.k topping.not that big but they sure are tasty.

Bologneise is the only one worth having. But it has become our standard frozen pizza. Would never buy at full price, it's just not worth more than $5.

    • Yeah, I use Dominos as a comparison. $6.95 for a large, fresh pizza. And because of lack of freezer space, keeping one on standby is not easy

  • Dr Pepper is better.

    • but not as crispy when put in the oven for 10 minutes.

  • Thanks for that. I hope they have the Pollo Pizza… :-)

  • +3

This is our favorite frozen pizza at the moment. The mcain mentioned above are good as well. Most other frozen pizzas are not great in my opinion.

Edit: and I feel sick just thinking about dominos as compared to above, even though they are of course good value in terms of cost and the amount of food you get.

  • +2

They are a good pizza. We stock up every time the 50% sales come around.

If any of you goobers are in Noosa I'm sorry in advanced for taking them all

I get the woolworths made in store pizza's. Bought one the other day for the same price, and it was better than any frozen pizza. These Dr. Oetker are definitely the best frozen pizza's out there, but I don't think the Dr. Oetker Australian made ones are as good as the German ones.

    • the made in store ones are only $3.75 I cant see them being that cheap.(our store doesnt have 'em I guess wolloies is copying coles)

      • Nope, they are normally $6.50 I think, but they do get reduced from time to time.

Aldi $3.99 pizzas are pretty good for those who haven't tried em

    • +1

Agree, Aldi ones are great. We add a few extra toppings (e.g. mushrooms or fresh rocket) and they come out great. Plus you don't get that sickly feeling you get from dominos.

    • they also used to have ones that had packets or rocket etc to put on top after cooking - they were great, base was really good.

  • Costco Pizza for me

  • -1

I love Costco Pizza, Costco offers better, I think.

    • pity they are a two hour drive away.

      • Oh, sorry to hear that, their pizza is yummy, yummy, yummy indeed. :)

    • They are hit or miss in Canberra. Sometimes they are good, sometimes tastes crap for $12.99. There take away including pizzas are good.

      • Oh, really?! Luckily, my order never failed me, I guess it's the stuff issue.

  • Woo dr oetker is the best frozen pizza, only thing that sucks is I can only fit about 2 in my freezer at a time

    • +2

Removing them from box helps a bit. Means I can squeeze a 4th one in freezer space.

      • +1

Will give it a shot, cheers
