  • This, the shopping express deal or wait until Black Friday?

    • Depends on what your needs are if you are not going to overclock and don't care about the looks as much this smaller card might work. Personally I'm in the same boat as you I'm waiting for black Friday to pick up a 1070 or 1080 if the price is right these deals seem to come around every month or 2 so its not the end of the world if you miss out

      • Size does not matter…….

  • +3

This is a great card, at a really good price. Loving mine….

  • +2

Got the 3gb for just under $300 at the msy sale and cant fault mine, playing battlefield 1 at 60fps on high at full HD :)

  • Possibly a stupid question, will this support playing games at 2160p resolution? What sort of lag and refresh rates could I expect?

    • +1

This card would support games however i would highly recommend you look at a gtx 1080 or at the very least a 1070 to play games at 4k. With this card i would guess u could maybe push 30fps 4k in some lighter games however id highly encourage you to look at better cards. Even then brand new titan struggles to play every game at 60 fps 4k max settings so jsut keep that in mind and maybe think about playing at 1440p unless you already have a 4k monitor

      • So this card OK for 1440p maxed out?

        • +1

No you would need a 1070 for 1440p Max but this card would allow you to play games at 1440p with decent settings and decent fps

        • +1

Just barely. I haven't tried 1440p with this card, since all I have is a 1080p 144hz monitor, but you would need to sacrifice some image quality to maintain a playable fps.

        • @scrimshaw: Whats it like fps wise can u fully utalise your 144hz? im debating between 144hz and ultra wide atm

  • You can also get the GTX 1060 3GB version for $279 with the code

    • +2

True. Highly recommend this 3gb one, two fans, 22.3cm, 400w, 6pin, only 279$ after discount. Best buy so far, even better than last week msy promotion. Actually futu 6gb version's original price is set too high. 100$ higher than 3gb version is ridiculous.

  • +1

This was only $332 from MSY last weekend during their 10% off sale.

Great card, have been playing mafia III @ 1440p without issue

  • Can I use this graphics card alongside my Radeon HD 7780 in the same PC ?

I currently have 2 HD 7780 and I want a new gfx for gaming purposes as I use 6 monitors (for work). Will there be any issues with drivers/functionality considering one is AMD and one is Nvidia?
