  • I have a 960M. It's not bad and can play most older games. I can run BF1 on low and have to drop to 720p to play online.

    • Yep I have the 860M version of this laptop and it has been great but you need to have the right expectations for what it can do.

Like most gaming laptops it's also pretty heavy with a monstrous power brick so don't pick this up expecting to take it to Uni every day or anything either.

If you have extra cash to burn a 10- series GPU will last you a lot longer but you are looking at least double the price of this unit. Just keep in mind you're not going to be upgrading a laptop's GPU - you're stuck with what you choose.

  • Decent deal, cheapest elsewhere is $1094 ($15 P&H)

    • Wanting the 4gb 960M hey?

      • More of the HDD -> SSD, bit lazy to go DIY.

        • Hehe cheaper to DIY though. It's really easy. But yeah the 4gb is a better upgrade imo.

  • +1

A note to the store rep. Your other listings of ASUS refurbs often do NOT include full specifications.

It is hard to know what you are buying without spending heaps of time googling. For example, the screen resolution and even the panel type. Often it is nowhere to be found or are we to assume everything is HD and not FHD or better?

The "Key Features" tab is always empty.

    Hopeless.

  • Nice. This is a ROG laptop. Nvidia GTX 960 on a laptop, wow.

GTX 960M, not desktop 960. most likely equivalent to gtx 750Ti

      • Yeah i know. I mean't the mobile GTX 960.

        • oh sorry. just confused that you mentioned the word wow for gtx 960m. for gtx 1060, yes its a wow.

  • Have any of this or N552VX in with both i7-6700HQ and 4K/UHD IPS Screen ? http://www.cfonline.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&p…

The ones I was just about to order using the Ebay promos ran out of stock so on the hunt for similar.
