errrr, long time leecher, first time duper~

Came along this controller deal when my intention is to grab a few bargains at the Game june sale. But as usual all the good games are gone…

So I go emo and walk around DICK smith and found this black controller for 30 bucks… I dunno if its because the new xbox will be accompany by a new controller or what. But for whoever just picked up a cheap elite! go crazy! And by crazy I mean go around places like crazy to search for the deal… coz the plaza I went to is a very quite one n they only had one left… Which I bought ;P

Remember this is the one with a bulky box with 4 'games'. Not the plastic wrap one, they are still going for 79 bucks @_@ And please enjoy my professional photographic skills XD

      Yea, that one, guess my awesome photo skills is not awesome enough… always found myself feeling bad when trying to take photos of products in stores. Is it illegal? Why do I feel guilty!!

        Don't feel guilty. You must learn the art of covert surveillance young Jedi. Silence your unit by turning off the shutter noises. Also, whilst shooting one must look as if they were to send a text message. Technique has never failed during my travels.

      Although I can never really think of what you could use an Xbox controller for the PC for.. gaming is so much easier on the KB/Mice.

        Some games just require a contoller to feel right, like the smash em up type games.

      Yeah I saw the elite controller at DSE when I picked up the other 2.
      I wondered the same thing. Initially i thought these were gonna be knock-off / compatible controllers despite the Post title but they aren't, they are exactly the same as the one that came with my console. They are made by Microsoft and appear to be 100% genuine, if not 120% :-)

    People in areas where the local DS have the bundle should try a price match with EB or Kmart etc. Ozbargainers need to learn to co-operate to milk these opportunities when they arise.
    For instance I had Kmart price match (from $39 to $2) the Halo bluray with GAME who had 1 in stock - but that's all it took.

    I have just got back from Knox SC as I can't make it over to DSE Preston or Dandenong today.
    First off went into JB. They have these at $75 and wouldn't price match or budge from that price stating that they don't match clearance prices.
    Then wandered off to Game where they had these on the shelves at $79.95. I said to the guy that DSE had these at $30 again on clearance and again he said they don't price match clearance. Anyhow he said he would scan it and see what price comes up as stock price changes overnight. Low and behold it came up $28 !!! Couldn't beleive it and neither could he. They had about another 4 or 5 on the shelf but would imagine once word gets round they'll go pretty quickly. Seems like a good bloke too down at the Knox Game store. Enjoy :)

    Just tried the Wagga store and some *^$^%# just got it 10 minutes before me.

    However they advised me that there is still one in Albury and 3 in Canberra.

    No Game store here unfortunately.

    can someone post a pic of the receipt + box in the background? I went to price match at Game but they refuse to call the store and only accept photos. Unfortunately I couldn't take a photo as none were in stock.

    DSE in dandenong is out of stock… however i managed to get JB in Dandenong to price match Games $28 price even though it was way under there price.. very happy

    Better call up ask them to put it on hold for you and give them your name and number so they don't sell it to someone else before you get there.

    Great work finding that game has it for 28. So like, post that as a bargain :)

    Got the last one at my local. Plus they have some great games too. I picked up UEFA 2008 Soccer for $5.
