The Logitech X100 which was sold for $15 is a much better speaker. Shame it is not available at that price anymore.

      That's what I thought too when I buy x100 fo $15,
but x50 is actually the newer version :D

      Yes you can

      • Many thanks thats awesome

  • Paid $4 and collected last night. Ripper deal!

    • where was this deal from?

      • The Good Guys.
Used the $25 credit that came from signing up to receive their catalogue by email.

        • Isn't that $25 discount on a minimum $50 spend?

        • @Link: Apparently so. Didn't have any issue putting it through as an online order for in store collection.

        • +1

@Link: Yes for instore, but if you do it online there's no minimum :)

        • @garffi: That's great to hear. I didn't know that. Thanks.

        • @Link: got the same,$4 using voucber

    • Same! For the quality, even $29 is worth it.

    • Just did the same.

  • How do I sign up for the email-ed catalogue? I could then get this for $4 and use it as a stocking stuffer for my son.

    • It has ended, you can't get it anymore.

its pretty good unit, using with monitor for sound output… quality is gr8 for the price paid.

I find that my X50 is more louder and now easy to turn on with push of a button over my old X100 where I had to press and hold for 2secs to switch on.

thanks. got one. pretty good speaker!

  • Are these meant to turn on right out of the box? I got mine today and it won't turn on. It has no lights unless I plug it in to the laptop, and then it's a slow, blue light, not purple to indicate charging as mentioned in the manual. Can't get it to pair with anything either. Not sure if I am just an asshat when it comes to this speaker, or if I got a dud.

    • Never mind. Took it back and they replaced it, new one works perfectly, so first one definitely a dud.
