I've never paid over $20 at Bunnings and have been getting them there for ages?

        • +1

Well then you always get them at the promo price. I always get it from Bunnings probably every other month and they've been as much as ~$23

        • @CVonC: All good, maybe my local just caps the pricing? I don't know how the servos charge such high prices…and people pay it!

    • +1

Anecdotally, nowhere I've seen in Perth will refill a bottle for cheaper than $20-25.

Yep, heaps of servo's in SW Sydney are offering very competitive pricing.

I guess swap-n-go is for people who dont have 5mins to spare..

Good for getting rid of those out of date cylinders

          Isn't it 7yr life cycle?

        • @albanyson:
Yeah. Picked up a cylinder on the road side during our clean up. Coat of grey paint to cover the rust and given the key by the servo person to swap and go.
Figured the Bunnings staff member may check so went the easiest path.

I think its a 10 year life cycle before it needs to be re-tested and stamped again.

    • Confirming 10 years (as in the reply to HONDA4LIFE above)
