  • How long does it take to ship it Australia?
    Cheers.

    • It can take up to 30 business days. Average time is 3-4 weeks.

  • Xiaomi 2 10000mAh Black (uses micro-usb input) or Xiaomi Mi Pro 10000mAh (uses micro-usb C input)?
    I cant choose = (

    • +5
      • Sorry mate, Xiaomi dont get the same treatment as Eneloop = )

      • +2

How about a deal for the Pro version ;)

    • +3

The Pro model is 15% smaller in volume.. if that makes a difference

      • I have it at less than 7% smaller, or just over 7% bigger however you want to look at it.

        Pro: 128.5 x 75 x 12.6mm
        2: 130 x 71 x 14.1mm

        http://xiaomi-mi.com/power-banks/xiaomi-mi-power-bank-pro-10…
        http://xiaomi-mi.com/power-banks/xiaomi-mi-power-bank-2-1000…

Initially I was thinking I didn't want to go up in side for the cost down, but given I don't have a USB C device and on second look, it really isn't that much bigger than the pro, I am reconsidering the "2".

This video also gives you a great perspective on the minimal size differences between the two side by side.
        https://youtu.be/fghtV9XYxj4

Now I just need to wait for the next special on the power bank 2.

        • I googled the Xiaomi Pro and got it off first link (GearBest)

          Product size (L x W x H): 12.80 x 7.30 x 1.20 cm / 5.04 x 2.87 x 0.47 inches.

          I don't have one so can't verify

        • @Thrawn:

Fair call. You can tell from the video I linked though that the 2 is definitely more than 2mm narrower than the Pro.

Also, the dimensions above are both from Xiaomi.

This makes me happy and willing to forego the 7% difference for the cheaper price. Still 2 way QC and micro USB is more useful to me.

Once this hits low $20's again, i'll bite :)

    • USD$18.50 vs USD$29, big premium for USB-C.

    • Is the only difference the speed you can recharge the bank? Can both QC and can charge USB C devices with the right output cable?

      • Is the only difference the speed you can recharge the bank?

        Comparing what with what?

        They both charge using Qualcomm QC 3.0 at 12V 1.5A or 9V 2A or 5V 2A (max 18W)

Note that for the PRO you'd need a special charger… USB + QUALCOMM QC 3.0 output at the charger and USB-C plug. This is not compliant to USB specs and the cable may not support fast charging (ie: over 5V).

        Can both QC

Both of these use Qualcomm QC

and can charge USB C devices with the right output cable?

Neither will "fast charge" a USB-C PD (standards-compliant) device.

Both can charge via a USB-C cable or adaptor on the output, but will fall back to 5V at 1.5A (I think). There are very few devices that use Qualcomm QC via a USB-C port, as it is a silly way to do things.

Don't confuse the connectors with the charging protocols. USB Type C is simply a connector, and in itself is not specifying anything regarding charging capabilities. You need to know what fast charge protocols your device requires, then choose a suitable charger.

Neither of the Xiaomi chargers are USB-C + PD (USB Compliant) devices, so neither will fast charge those.

My understanding is that only 2 phones (one LG and the HTC 10) have USB-C connector yet support Qualcomm QC 3.0 for fast charging. The standard that everyone is (supposed to be) using is USB-C + PD (USB Power Delivery).

    • whats the difference between pro and edition 2?

      • Basically USB-C and price, they both do QC2.0 both ways (input/output).

  • +1

xiaomi 2, bought from banggood AUD 25 just last week now AUD 23.84. sad!

    • +1

      Me too big difference $1.16

    • +1

If you add the cashback it's an even greater discount.

  • Sweet, geekbuying can now ship powerbanks to Australia?

    • +1

Yes. They've been able to for quite a while now.

  • which one is better for iPhone 6S?

    • The Xiaomi will charge slightly faster than the other 2.

  • +1

I wish Xiaomi would release a USB-C PD complaint version of their power banks.

  • Hi OP,

Can we please get a deal on this: http://www.mi.com/en/mibox/

I just ordered one from you but you sent me the Chinese version which is useless. I'm still waiting on having someone get back to me about a return/refund, but I still want the NEW Android TV 6.0 version

  • How can the price is different when I was logged in?
    It become U$21.99

    • Do you enter the coupon code? 😉

      • Yup…..but not to be $18.49
        What to do Mr Rep?

        • I'm trying to help, Mr Dalton. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for you. 😓

        • Alright, so you've added the product to the cart and applied the coupon in the shopping cart?

  • Sincere questions,
Why do so many people buy power banks?
Do I need to buy it?
Can't I just plug in the wall charger?

    • +1

Can't I just plug in the wall charger?

I've never seen a socket for a wall charger on a train or bus, have you?

Your backpack and bike, do they have a 240V socket to plug the wall charger into?

Do I need to buy it?

      Obviously not.

    • I charge my devices in the backpack while I'm travelling and for Pokémon Go ;)

  • Just order one.

    Can't order 2 or more?
Why no DHL or EMS options?

    • 1 per order. DHL and EMS currently reject sending power banks to Australia.

  • AU price in the title pls

    • +1

Normally I would, but I've hit the character limit.

      • delete " $18.49 US"
        replace with "24 AU"?

        • +1

The price is US as Geekbuying don't accept AU. The final price is going to depend on the exchange rate and your method of paying. E.g. 28 Degrees card setup in Paypal to use it's own currency conversion instead of Paypal.

        • @Clear:

          fair enough.

i was not thinking about buying it coz i already have 6 xiaomi powerbank (yep 6). althought they are not the latest version.

until i saw the small current charging support.

it is kinda big deal for me. i use ipod shuffle and gopro. both device wont charge with all my xiaomi bank, i thought it must be the current being too low. coz they do charge at beginning, but stops after few seconds…

  • Thanks got 1

  • What's the difference between this one and the Pro version with a USB C input ?

    • +1

The Pro has a Type-C port instead of microUSB. There are reports that the Pro cannot be recharged using Quick Charge 2.0 or equivalent.

  • +1

Coupon not valid for orders less than $21, fail buying xiaomi 2

    • Are you signed in? Mobile or desktop site?

I tried XIAOMI10AH on Black and 10AHXIAOMI on Silver - both working.

    • I agree, it's not working

  • Yep signed in on mobile site

    • Try the desktop site. You can scroll to the bottom and click on "Full Site".

  • +1

Thank OP i just pulled the trigger. I prefer this xiaomi 2 over the pro version because it uses micro usb cable as opposed to the pro that uses usb-c. And it has QC both ways too.

  • +1

Thanks OP, just got the Xiaomi 2

  • Any one has problem in Paypal payment today? it failed twice for me when buying the Black Xiaomi Powerbank .

    • 20 units only, it'll be done in a few seconds. Good luck! 😊

      • +1

        i'll try my luck :D

  • Difference between the Romoss powerbanks? and difference vs the xiaomi?

    • Xiaomi uses Quick Charge 2.0. Any phone with that technology will charge significantly faster and the power bank itself can be recharged significantly faster with a QC charger.

  • The two Xiaomi codes are not working. The silver gets denied and the black puts it back to original price.

Sorry, the coupon code is only valid when the item sells no less than USD21.

    • Thanks. I'll let GB know.

    • Black version is still working. It'll go to original price and then apply the discount.

They've both been discounted to $19.99 for the GeekBuying eDM that went out yesterday.

      • Silver still gives error. Black goes to USD 22 then takes off 3.50. Please update deal if the price and discount has changed.

        • Discount hasn't changed. It's still $18.49 US.

          Still waiting on the silver.

        • @Clear:
          My bad. Thanks.

  • is this a chinese site? if so, i bought a powerbank from aliexpress and i got a message from the store that they say australia is not accepting powerbank from overseas any longer.

    • Yeah it's a Chinese store. Geekbuying couldn't send power banks for a couple of months, but they've now found a way to ship them here.

      • so is this deal still active?

        • Yes.

        • @Clear:

i logged in but the code for xiaomi black didnt work.

          edit: it worked.

  • Very bad service, ordered 10 days still processing. According the website, processing time is 2-7 days. Never buy it again!

I just received the reply from customer servise after 4 days. I have been told the item is too hot and they are out of stock, so they need extra time. But they never mentioned how long does it take, maybe forever! mover buy it again!

  • Same here, order placed on 14. Still processing. No response from customer support..

    • I received a message from geekbuying three days ago that orders will be shipped within 24 hours and tracking no added. Sure got tracking no and status showed shipping, but when I checked on the postage site today. it shows 'item is pre-advised' which means only shipping label is printed but it's not yet shipped.. Sneaky..

Have asked for a refund, let's see how this goes.

      • More specifically, it means that it's intransit to the sorting facility.

  • oh im not alone. At least inform us about the process. i have been waiting for 12 days.

    • +1

I spoke to Geekbuying earlier and they said that all orders have shipped and logistics may have not updated. Shoot me a PM with your order number so I can check.

      • sent you the message.

        • Thanks. I've sent GB a message.

  • Hi rep.
How come the weight doesn't match the specs from other companies. The weight of this one is 217g. And the weight from geardo is 228g
    Thanks

    • The previous version of this power bank weighed 228g according to Xiaomi. Either they're quoting the wrong place or packaging is included.

      • Thanks for getting back to me. Is this guaranteed genunine ?

        • Yes. GeekBuying have been selling Xiaomi for years and in my whole time posting for GeekBuying there has never been any fakes.

  • How do I mark this deal as expired?

  • Did anyone receive the power bank they ordered from this deal?
I ordered one when the deal was posted but just received an email saying that the power bank has been returned to them as it was rejected by customs. They gave me the option of a refund or they can try posting it again. Would it be worth trying to post again or is customs getting pretty strict with power banks now?

    • I'll look into it as many power banks have been going through customs fine.

  • has anyone received their order yet?

    • +1

I received an email saying that my order didn't make it through customs and got returned to them. They ended up giving me a full refund.

      • well didnt they give the guarantee that they knew different ways to make the orders through customs?

        • Anyone else received their order yet? I ordered 4 as separate transactions and none have arrived as yet.

        • +1

          @granthamana:

          i got it today.

    • No, and something a bit dodgy going on.
      Ordered 20/11.
Got email item sent out 22/11.
Got another email item sent out 10/12?!?
Starting to think it'd not worth saving a few dollars when u have to wait over a month!

  • Item not passed through customs and got rejected
