Thanks Koalafied, I'm a bit concerned about the guy saying he's having problems connecting to the 4g network (might just be his phone or no coverage), thanks for the reply <3

        • +1

Welcome! I'm trying to figure out a solution for the 4G connection dropping out, I'll update the post if I find one though :-)

        • +2

          @koalafied: :-) Thanks

Click bait. Their site will go down then no one gets $4 PS4 probably only 1 unit available anyway

Can't believe false advertising at its finest.

Not worth your time. Move on.

They should rename as bait frenzy rather

  • anyone found the fitbit?

    • nope

      • ill post link if i find

        • looking but no luck yet

    • Think there's two, one for the charge 2 and one for the blaze from DWI. Not sure if this is the $1 deal but the server is unreachable, most likely overloaded

      • not it

        • Got access to dwi - $205 for the Fitbit Charge 2 so not the $1 one :)

        • @akastyl13:

It's really gone now ha… it was the alta for $1. Looks like you buy it from the click frenzy website itself

        • +3

I managed to get to the payment page before it sold out. Quick tip, make sure you're logged in to click frenzy before the next deal pops up so then you can skip that step. Good luck everyone!

        • how did you guys find it i didnt seem to catch it during the time.

        • where is the login section?

        • +1

Here's the link for the fitbit, log in or create account button at top right

        • @Archsector: Login to paypal you mean?

  • It's refreshing very fast, I'm impressed. Maybe it won't even crash.

    • nothing yet :(

    • Do we have to refresh or stay on the page? I don't get it

      • refresh i think?:(

        • sold out :/

        • +1

It was in the bottom banner for me (above footer) - already sold out.

        • @ironsword:

Yeah nearly got there but it went fast

        • Christ. They must've had 1 in stock.

        • @LukeB: was it on the main sports and leisure page or one of the retailers websites?

  • So has anyone else found anything of particular interest, the savings are mostly underwhelming in what I have looked at so far with the exception of the xbox games.

  • +1
    • +1

I clicked on it as soon as it popped up and then it disappeared :(

    • +1

      same error

  • +1

Deals are similar to what these retailers offer all year at various stages.

The force refresh for the real bargains is great for collecting impressions I guess.

    Really lame :(

    • +1

Glad I am not the only one that noticed. would be better if the site had crashed again at least I would not have wasted an hour looking to find some worthwhile deals.

  • +1

Another click fail, dunno why anyone wastes their time on these sales

  • +1

    So Crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Scored one!!!!

    • ridiculous …

      • Did you really scored one? proof !

      • +1

my order number shows there should be about 10 in stock

  • +1

fitbit sold out within 1 second: http://i.imgur.com/mJqAba1.png

  • +2

sold out, gave me error when I first accessed it.

    • +2

don't think anyone bought it, unless it was an Alien lol

  • +1

Sold out in like .2 seconds. Crazy!

  • +1

so i got through and they were all sold out!

  • +1

Got banner. Link have 404 error. So much for server not crashing. Refreshed about 10 times and actually got through. Added Fitbit to cart. Pressed check out and it said I had a sold out item in cart.

Got further than I usually get in these things though :-p

    • +1

      me too lol

    • +1

Where did you find the banner? I was on the sports/leisure page on clickfrenzy.com.au but nothing popped up :(

      • Make sure you have ad blocker off.

        • +2

ohhh right thanks for the tip

  • +2

Not sure if I want to stick around for that TV

  • +3

i bet this ps4 is at 2am in the morning

  • +1

I clicked on it the moment it popped up, added it to my cart and then hit update all within a few seconds and it was sold out! What a rip! I wonder how many they actually had or if there are just that many people refreshing at once?

  • +1
  • +1

I got one in to the cart but once I clicked checkout I got 'sold out'

  • +1

Might be one of those sales where it pays to be a WA person if they continue into the night :)

  • +1

Sold out, I instant clicked it the moment it was up. Dubious.

  • +1
  • +2

Did anyone get one? Reveal yourself and the black magic you used

  • +1

Got a 404 earlier then added one and then bam, sold out.

  • +1

Hummm, clicked on the $1 fitbit, but I dont really need it :)

    http://imgur.com/a/BYrzS

    • +1

Show the screenshot of purchased ;) not "in your cart"

      • +1

Nah. It said 1 item per person. I am not wasting my chance on a fitbit :)

  • +1

Might as well not bother with the other items if they're going to sell out in less than 10 seconds

  • +1

Well I guess we can refresh the store page rather than the banner this time

  • there's no samsung tv 32 inch on clickfrenzy site? Can anyone find it?

  • In my experience in getting limited shoes, there's no point in even trying as shopify store are so easy to bot

  • I am thinking of starting special sale website business also, where you ll get iphone 7 for $1, samsung 75 inch uhd tv for $2 and aliens from mars for $3. By the time you ll click and try to buy, they ll be gone like that.

    • There's no law against this right?
Imagine creating a clickbait front page of 100 juicy items (Tvs/iphones/computers) and have a fake scroller on the right side saying "X got X" to make it seem like people are "winning" the first clicks as items become available but in reality you're just selling advertising on the page and linking to other full priced items with a small discount.

      • True, this is a shame that it works like this in online world.

      • Yeah, it's illegal. Whether you can successfully prove it was bait advertising is another matter though.

"Bait advertising is the practice of offering items for sale at low prices to attract consumers to a business.

Bait advertising can be a legitimate form of advertising. However, it is illegal to engage in this conduct where goods or services are advertised for sale at a discounted price, and they are not available in reasonable quantities and for a reasonable period at that price.

Legislation: Australian Consumer Law section 35

You must state clearly if the good is in short supply or on sale for a limited time. For example, if your advertisement makes it very clear that goods are available at the discount price for ‘today only’, this will limit your obligations to that day.

If there is not a reasonable chance the offer will be available at the advertised price, you may be in breach of the ACL unless you promptly offer a 'rain check', an acceptable substitute product or take other corrective action.

Example: An electronics retailer runs a campaign advertising 50-inch televisions at a price of $799 for a week-long sale. The retailer usually sells about 30 televisions of this type every week. The retailer only stocks two televisions at the advertised price and refuses to take customer orders.

When customers attempt to buy the television at the advertised price, they are told it is out of stock and offered a more expensive unit for $999. This is likely to be bait advertising as the retailer does not have a reasonable supply of the advertised television."

  • Got the same screen as everyone else. I clicked on the banner, it went to the page, was able to add it to the cart, then went to purchase using PayPal, clicked on the PayPal and got the message that it had been sold out. I though that once something was in your cart, that you would then be able to proceed with purchasing the item. I liken it to shopping in Woolies with an item in your trolley and someone takes it out, runs away and purchases it for themselves.

    • what screen did you find the banner at? I was refreshing the sport/leisure tab on clickfrenzy.com.au but nothing came up

  • We broke the site the tv will come up on, lol

  • So wait…can we clarify a few things.

    1. where exactly did the banner appear.
    2. do you have to refresh the damn page or not?
    3. how do you fricken login before above steps?
    • This was the fitbit banner, on the bottom of the page
      https://tpc.googlesyndication.com/simgad/3316308815666580150

      • as in you had to scroll right to the bottom or it popped up on the bottom of your screen as is.
this is harder work than…well work.

        • May be refreshing? I saw it once I clicked into the said category.
Its actually also on the top banner.
Yes you will have to scroll to see it.

    • The banner appeared up the top of Chrome Browser. I was refreshing the page, but not sure if this would have happened automatically or not. Unsure about how you login when all the details that have is your e-mail address.

      • +1

what time did it appear? I was refreshing all the way every minute for 30 minutes and nothing popped up

  • +1

I didn't wait around for the tv.. but looking at comments, did it ever even show up?

Also, did anyone get through the first step of checkout and have it fail later? For most of us, it seems like it said sold out directly after pressing checkout from cart. Would be good to know if it's held after that step or if you have to be super fast in inputting details and checking out (in which case PayPal is probably the way to go).

    • +1

tv is 8:30-9:30 so..no it hasnt been up y et

      • +1

Ah, didn't realise, I just skimmed email and thought it was same time. Thanks.

  • +2

Mwave via that banner has been down for half an hour lol.

    • +4

Those Asians probably spend $5 a month on economy hosting.

      • +1

Ha definitely. Hopefully they are not paying by impression - Otherwise Mwave just got owned.

    • +1

The whole site has been down since this afternoon at least. I tried to have a look at 3ish.
      Pre-emptive fail?

  • +1

Guys don't forget to zoom page out all the way to see both banner and footer of site

    • +1

is the footer with the bar with terms and condition etc etc

    • +1

page is so big though.. still need to scroll.. on my mac anyway

    • +1

I have done that but unfortunately there are too many items on the electrical page to see both banner and footer of the site

      • Yes, the trick is to scroll all the way down and zoom out to 50% on mac, you should see both ads appear when you keep refreshing

  • I think I figured it out, just wait to confirm

    • what does this mean?

      • what do you mean

        • what do you mean what do i mean??

        • @bingsta:

what i meant to say was what do you mean to smodahf.
