      The least 4 has gone for is around 1400 last time eBay had 20% off. That's almost twice this and mind you, flipping it if you desire a Mavic would become difficult in the longer run. Although this changes with what you want the quad for, given you are entertaining the idea of getting a 3, I'm guessing you are a hobbyist? if so, might I suggest you to wait for Mavic?

          I ordered on dji.com

          I had Phantom 3, compared to that the Mavic is:
          - (obviously) much much more portable
          - a lot quicker to get it flying since you no longer have to assemble the propellers
          - ActiveTrack makes it so much easier to fly whilst filming your object
          - Tripod mode makes it very stable while flying indoors
          - more usable footage in less time

          How would you rate the stability in the air? I am planning on attaching a Gear360 camera to it and basically park the quad in the air and the most important factor is stability.

          Without wind, it is very stable. According to DJI's FAQ, the only advantage the Phantom 4 has over Mavic is a higher maximum speed and can withstand stronger winds.

    What is the maximum carry weight? Will it be able to lift a sausage and slice of bread? Would onions be too heavy?

      Next time I will see if it can carry extra bbq sauce.

        I just take a roughly look and did not find any differences among the 4 versions, but according to the color on the arms, is the 4K more like professional? Just guessing…
