    I hate em' too. I splashed about $129 dollars for some entry level Bose SoundSports last month and their fit is amazing.

    They are $111 from Myers now… highly recommend them if you want really comfortable earphones.

    There are some comfortable ones out there! Sennheiser in-ear momentums work well for me.

  Any real-world comparisons between the Hybrid IV vs the Hybrid Pro? I was pretty impressed with the IVs so I'm not sure how much better they can be :) Still such a low, low price for very decent buds.

      I was honestly not able to tell them apart til I saw the control buttons. Other reviews say it's for the Pro yet reviews are dated from last year.

      Thanks mate will check that review now. I have been impressed with all generations of the Mi Hybrids.

        maybe not, the link I provided is "hybrid pro HD", i cant see any reviews though for just a "hybrid pro" on head fi, there's nothin in the xiaomi hybrid thread about a "pro" version until a link to these new ones it seems froma quick look.

        On the official xiaomi's website the new hybrid pro or pro HD cost 149RMB in China.

        I don't know why but the xiaomi hybrid has 2 names: just "hybrid" or hybrid pro…The new hybrid is called headphones pro in China or 小米圈铁耳机 Pro ("headphones pro HD" on the box)
        Hopefully, they don't look alike !

        @jutsu: [@sigh] thanks guys, yeah it's just the retailers give them different names sometimes than Xiaomi gives them. As 'Jutstu' said, its the same in the link that you provided. So apparently it has an extra driver to give more bass.

        I found that the first gen was a bit less bassy than the Piston 3's but less balanced than the Piston 3's. However i soon got used to them. They both kick ass.

        Just ordered it and looking forward to it :)

    Completely different product; The Chewy runs Win10.

    Comments on the tablet:
    Great build quality
    Functional stylus, palm rejection is…somewhat passable
    Pretty average wifi quality; anything below 50% signal strength doesn't work.
    Pretty terrible power management; gets ~5h with pretty light use. Probably 2 or 3h of movie playback.

    Well, 2 drivers/side so yeah 4 drivers.
    The new xiaomi hybrid pro HD seems to have 2 dynamic driver like the tennmak but thinner with 1 balanced armature.

  Also to note I found the EQ setting on my redmi note 3 (under "sound" in settings, set to "Xiaomi Pro"..(different settings for different xiaomi headphone models) to make a HUGE difference.. Makes these IEM's go from a flabby non-neutral sound to an Audiophile level of resolution and presence (no doubt also the synergy and EQ with the phone comvibed) albeit a slightly uncontrolled bass region at times
