  • not sure if i would pay $699 for a i3/4GB/500GB Laptop with UMA Shared Graphics

$400 is max what i would spend for those specs as a normal price

    Normal price is $699

    Normal price is $499

copy paste description no doubt. The i3 is a 5005U which sports a Intel® HD Graphics 5500. deplorable that you have to search out the actual cpu model, that in itself makes me want to not buy one, but all the fools list similar like that. Obfuscate to secure a sale.

Good price for an i3 5th gen cpu but the build quality doesn't inspire confidence, neither does dealing with Acer but YMMV.

  • Does the screen fold all the way back like a 2-in-1 ?

The screen lifts up like the doors of a Lamborghini

  • I've got a similar model and I'm using an external keyboard with it. The keyboard has extra wide spacing between each key, it doesn't feel like a normal keyboard. The keys don't register sometimes if I'm typing too quickly.

  • Ordered one yesterday, although specs are not yet clear, at the time of order there were no specs, I found some in google cache:

    https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:inGR6x…

    Intel Core i3 5005U, 500GB, 4GB, 802.11bgn, Windows 10, 1 x Headphone/speaker jack, 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x HDMI, 1 x RJ45, HD Acer CineCrystal Multi-touch LCD, 2.2kg

So I presume screen resolution is 1366x768 and probably not ips but it should be folding into tablet mode, could not find any desc in google.

Now page is semi fixed and some of specs back, but not all.

Picked it up today, will unwrap it at night.

    • Confirm specs. Looks alright, screen rotates all the way, touch screen and touchpad work ok. In the system it identifies itself as R3-471T.

HDD is a killer, but that's expected. Power button is on the side, probably to accommodate tablet usage.
