      Hi step_andy,
As this fare goes to 12 Cities and is from 5 Cities we would need to feature 60 different prices on this page to give you a break down of all the pricing. We have featured the from price which is based on travel from Perth to Istanbul. If you would like the exact pricing for any other cities please call our friendly consultants on 1300 767 757, and they can advise.
The flight pricing is the same based on 2 Zones, your final pricing however will depend on the destination city you choose to fly into and stopover options determining the final taxes you will need to pay.

      • For some time I have been concerned with the advertising of BestFlights.com.au

Most often than not, as is the case in this instance, the headline rate is advertised and then when you click through to the deal there is row after row of zones and column after column of dates of travel (or vice versa).

The headline advertised rate is therefore restricted to particular zones and to a particular period of travel and the many other options are much more expensive than the advertised rate.

In this case the “deal” at the advertised headline rate is ONLY available from Perth, not from any other place in Australia.

As I said, I have long been concerned about this, but I think it is about time that a complaint was made to the ACCC.

  • Yup, several post has been made by bestflight and most are very vaguely showing the price. List the best price from where to where and when can you get with such price. the rest is of no concern since it is advertisement and not bargain.

Keep off using this forum for ads!

    • I agree with you, but they're not just ads, I think that they are also being misleading.

It was even worse when there was no requirement to include taxes and so on.

I feel a bit uneasy about deals being offered with a "from" price being in the headline. To be sure, there are a lot of factors that determine the final price (route, taxes, fees, day/time, etc). However there could be just one airfare for $1429 to qualify for the statement "from $1429". It's a cynical view, but one fostered by years of chasing airline specials only to find the extra low airfares are often unavailable.

  • I don't see a problem with it. Admittedly I'd prefer it to be 1429 from Sydney, but it still seems like a good deal for a full service carrier. Publishing a sample Sydney,Melbourne, Queensland price in
    the description would help maybe.
