some wireless devices are bluetooth based. These are RF based and RF cannot stream HD to its full capacity!
Fair enough. I've never been able to hear the difference, but I will admit that I have the RS170's and they don't sound nearly as good as my Audio Technica noise cancelling (wired) headphones - even though they AT ones are low-mid range.

What HD you're referring to? These are 20Hz-20KHz, uncompressed. Granted drivers not audiophile class, but do give an example of better. Best Bluetooth codec is AptX and AAC, both, with compression, regardless of drivers.
Kleer (the technology used in these) does indeed use RF. As does Bluetooth and WiFi. I'm not sure what point you are making.
Bluetooth uses RF yes, but it converts the signal from analog to digital. So you pretty much have good quality audio.
These speakers use RF, like AM/FM RF, with no analog to digital conversion. i had these and i pickup my neighbors telephone conversations.
I then sold them, bought a blutooth wireless transmitter and the quality improved 10 fold.
@chingy213: Except that these don't do that, they use Kleer. From the blurb:
The RS 170 utilises Kleer's uncompressed digital wireless audio transmission, offering an effective range of 80m (line of sight), and can serve up to four pairs of headphones.
My guess is that you had different headphones to these.
