Darn, I just bought a pair of QC35s. Would this be much of an improvement over them?
By all reports it depends, if you fly a lot the Bose are probably better. If you're after better quality sound and don't need as much noise cancellation these are the ones to get.
Hard decision… The Bose have an average sound (coming from a non audiophile). But they will be a life saver on flights.
I have the QC3 and if I am travelling they are glued to my ears.
Yup 100% agree. As an audiophile myself, if you want sound quality, go with Momentums. If you want noise cancelling + sound quality, go with Sony MDR-1000x. The sony's have been said to be a lot better than the QC35s in terms of sound quality and just on par with noise cancelling.
if you want "comfy", then qc35 is the best,
