Wow thats not cheap at all :O

  • Darn, I just bought a pair of QC35s. Would this be much of an improvement over them?

By all reports it depends, if you fly a lot the Bose are probably better. If you're after better quality sound and don't need as much noise cancellation these are the ones to get.

      • Hard decision… The Bose have an average sound (coming from a non audiophile). But they will be a life saver on flights.

        • I have the QC3 and if I am travelling they are glued to my ears.

Yup 100% agree. As an audiophile myself, if you want sound quality, go with Momentums. If you want noise cancelling + sound quality, go with Sony MDR-1000x. The sony's have been said to be a lot better than the QC35s in terms of sound quality and just on par with noise cancelling.

if you want "comfy", then qc35 is the best,
