  • Great laptop. I bought this for work over the HP and Xps13 because the build quality and apperence.
For me, Id get the FHD screen. the 1440p screen is nice but doesn't play well with some old software I need to use. It is more a Microsoft issue the lenovo.

      old software

No, it is the software's developer issue who created that old software. Microsoft can't be expected to update every single software out there with a modern UI and clear text.

      • Microsoft is partially to blame for the situation. Legacy application scaling is implemented significantly better on OS X.

    • how is the battery life working out? 11 hours claimed in the specs but what about in practice ….

      • I've got one.

I think the battery life is closer to 6-7hrs for me :(

      • As bisaya said, it is about 6-7 hours normal use. So do not plan for a full day without recharge. I guess for this part, it is behind XPS13. It is good enough for me.

  • Does someone know what's Lenovo promotion for Black Friday and Christmas.

Looking forward to seeing a amazing deal.

Great deal. They are likely going to be refreshing the X1 YOGA model with 7th CPU soon, hence why these big offers are popping up a lot.

I was interested in getting one, but ended up getting the HP Spectre x360 from here instead: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/273528.

  • Lenovo offers great deals this time.
I also had a post for T series here in case someone needs: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/275884#comment-4178922

  • Hmm half the battery of advertised one?

I wonder if this is good enough for light room processing as a portable secondary computer.
