Getting massive bang for your buck here.

  • cheers bought a white one thanks.

Edit: make that two bought just the last Black in great condition for my mother.

    • Hahah, if my black one miraculously starts working again, it'll probably go to my mother too :p

      • Lol nice this will just replace my mothers much smaller HTC one M8 will be much better for her when shes doesn't have her tablet.

      • My Note 4 died from water damage. After placing it in a sealed bag of silica gel for 6 months, it's magically working like brand new again! So happy given that the Note 5 has no microSD storage, all the icons are smaller and has a slower processor.

Love this phone. Should buy if my current one tanks.
Use the internal battery for swapping and IR blaster all the time.

    • +2

Ya according to my dad, his current one fell out from his pocket into the toilet and is currently being soaked in rice and sun.

Bought this in the meantime cause 'black' is apparently too hard for him to find and we can use the previous cases and spare battery for it.

A really solid phone until Samsung decided to get too greedy with their 2015 flagships.

I totally agree that this is the best phone I've ever used or come across (bought it two years ago). However, given how good the prices are on the Xiaomi phones, you'd be better off buying a brand new Redmi Note 4 for $220 (Comes with a decacore 2.1GHz processor and 64GB/3GB of internal storage/RAM). Don't stinge out and buy the cheaper 16GB version with only 2GB of RAM for $190.

  • Really REALLY tempting, But I'm not a big fan of phablets.. any good deals around 5.2" display?

    • I personally wanted the LG G5 for $400 from dwi eBay but they only had 1 pink remaining… Then got sold out minutes later.

Then this was too cheap to pass up -_-
Note 4 auctions were selling higher than this.

I'm still waiting for my dream phone. 5.2", 1080p display, good display-to-body ratio, and 3000mah battery at the minimum.

Basically, I wouldn't have minded if somebody copied the LG G2 design and just updated it with SD820, added a removable battery and a SD card slot, at the expense of making the phone a little thicker. I love my LG G2 still.

        • +2

G2 was the best phone I ever had. I miss it alot… the G3 and G4 I disliked compared to my G2.
          :(

        • @irev1:
5.2 dream phone? get the sony xperia XZ :D

        • @uccoffee:
No, let them await their G6 :x

The G5 was imo a nice featured phone but their build quality was bad because of their modular design. I'm personally using the V20 and "this" is what I called a solid phone with no innovating bullshit.

I'm looking forward to what the G6 has to offer, continue risking modular or back to building a solid 5.3" phone.

        • @irev1: Don't feel too bad. My G2 is so slow after a software update (done during a repair)

        • I hear its big in Japan (only) ;(

          http://gadgets.ndtv.com/lg-v34-3845

I'd be all over this like JV comments on irrelevant issues.

        • Agreed. That would be my ideal too. A 5.2" screen in a phone with a thin bezel. Todays phones are all 5.5" phablets.

        • @uccoffee:
The xperia XZ body is too big for a 5.2" screen phone.

Have this phone and love it.
It started to play up and Telstra replaced it with 3 months of the 2yr warranty left so I'll get another 2 years out of this one hopefully.

  • I've been asking this alot lately but for an extra $50 over what I can get a Redmi Note 3 Pro locally I'd crazy not to jump on this deal right?

    • +2

The note 4 is better in every way except the smaller battery, I basically listed everything the redmi note 3 CAN'T DO in the description xD

      • But but the redmi note 3 has sd card slot….

        • And IR blaster

        • I just assumed it doesn't have it cause my redmi note 3 does not~
Surprised about the ir blaster though.

        • @Zeral: Well good new for you, the microSD card slot is in the same location as your sim. You have capability for a second sim card or a microSD card up to 256GB.

The Redmi Note 4 ($220) has been released and is better than the Redmi Note 3 which surprisingly is the same price, all brand new delivered to your doorstep of course. Both have a larger battery over the Galaxy Note 4 by 33% and both have an infra-red blaster, the Redmi Note 4 has double the internal storage over the Galaxy Note 4.

  • I have a note 3, would I have to repurchase my paid for apps if I was to upgrade to this?

    • +2

No, just use your Google account details, when you activate/turn on the Note 4, and it will simply download all your paid/free apps to the new phone (supposing you allow Google to auto backup and restore your data)

  • Good price!

  • This is a great deal and seems a lot of ozbargainers agree. If only this was a slightly newer model Note, Ozbargain would literally explode!

    • +7

      Cause no newer model exists…

Note 5 - Same screen, no Removeable battery, smaller battery, no ir blaster, glass build, no SD card slot.

Note 7 - recalled and unsellable

      • Why did they skip the note 6?

        • So the naming will line up with galaxy s7

        • +4

          @kolorijo:

oh yeah.. and boy did that backfire on them >_<

        • Bet they wish they skipped the Note 7 as well.

      • They really went the wrong way with the Note 5. Got rid of 2 of the things that make Samsung phones great and iPhones frustrating - removable battery and SD Card slot.

  • 2 yrs with this phone and still going strong, dropped it a few times on concrete and only got a few scratches on the sides and edges. very happy. :)

    • And this is why I hate glass phones, don't need to turn pale after every drop.
I probably dropped my naked note 4 10 times and it was still unfazed, died after 1 drop in liquid though :(

  • +2

all the "great" condition is now out of stock

    • Thx, clicked expired.
Can't find the sold out button although I do see it on the site.

      • Click red Expired, and change to Out of Stock.

  • +3

Nice deals on the best note available, as Note 5 sucks and Note 7 blows.

    • +2

When you suck it blows 😂

      • +3

No sense of humour i guess to those who ➖

        • +1

          probably Trump voters!

  • This is the best designed phone I have ever had.

A multi-tasking powerhouse with a stylus and battery that is flawless.
Put a perspex glass protector on the screen and this sucker is damn near invincible. Dropped it for the first time in 3 years, 3 times in the last month alone (screw me) and the battery and back screen popped right out, protecting momentum impulse on the screen, screen was fine.

I will happily get another Note4 if mine were ever to die.

  • Just got it today! It included a flip cover and screen protector as well :D

Mine had Android version 4.4.4 out of the box with optus branding.

    • I got both of mine
the fair condition white has massive screen burn in http://imgur.com/a/WIC2s it's way worse then i could capture in picture can seen icons bad. not to mention the entire screen seems almost yellowy compaired to the cnice white color of the notification bar.
The actual condition of the fair mobile isnt bad but the screen burn in sucks
and the black great condition has a very faint notification bar burn very faint that you can barely see on white screen but still there.

      Not very happy.

      • Wow that's brutal, they have a 7 day guarantee so Definitely send that one back!

Mine looked great (great condition) with a little dust stuck at the bottom left of the phone and that was it, and had to update 5 times.

I thought their phone screens would've been intact with just heavy scuff marks on the bumpers but not burn ins… I thought we were past that point by now -_-

I use to think it was a myth and people's way if dissing Amoled.
Try this for your black note 4?
Might even work for your white one, didn't know there were dedicated apps Amoled burn in fix.

        https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tinyroar.a…

      • My fair one also has a pretty cooked screen, looks identical to yours. Cosmetically it's in great condition ao I was pretty happy at first.

Battery life has also been pretty crap in the first day using it, had it charged around 80% and is only sitting on 12% now after 10 hours with 1.5 hours screen ontime…
The program which used the most battery was only "Google services" which used 6%, so no idea where it all went…
