Uh, no. This is 470g, Mayvers is 375g.
If the Mayvers was the same size, it would cost $3.18.
Mayver's is better. 100% peanuts v 85%.
And it's more expensive.
It is a much better product, 100% Australian peanuts, no sugar, no added or hydrogenated oils and it has a 5 Star health rating.
I never said it was cheaper per gram, even though it is close, it is just a far better deal.
It is though much cheaper if you do it by peanut content, Australian peanuts versus imported too.
Its like comparing a camry and a mercades, yet charging the same price for the two.
I don't even allow my dog to eat the kraft stuff.
I don't doubt it's better, but this is Ozbargain, not Ozbestquality.
And BTW, it is NOT 100% peanuts, no peanut butter is.
They all have some salt or something in them.
And Kraft also have a 100% peanut line.
It does have a little salt (less than 1%) which ideally I prefer not to have.
That is why my first preference is for the Sanitarium Brand of Natural Peanut Butter which is indeed 100% peanuts.
So not ALL peanut butters contain "something".

I use to eat plenty of the Kraft stuff, but once trying a brand like Mayver's (etc) I cant eat the Kraft stuff as it tastes ridiculously sweetI've been a long time eater of the Kraft peanut butter range and can say that after purchasing a few jars of the Mayvers yesterday I was not really impressed. Sure it is a great product contentwise and being Australian made but I will stick to Kraft and Skippy peanut butters.

Yep Mayvers is heaps better, We have some at home. Aussie nuts, Aussie business and no added extra crap that doesnt need to be in the jar. This is how peanut butter probably started and how it should be.

Yeah good sale.
I posted it as a deal but then it got deleted and merged with the general Coles deal.
It's clearly the better option over this one.
