Quite a morning…

Got my $18 Doom and $45 Dishonored 2 from Target.
Little stock out on the floor and others were told "that's all there is"…
but, top tip - get them to check the drawers they keep the actual stock in. After being given "the last one" of Doom I returned later and another member of staff found a few more in the drawer when asked. Don't think there was any was malicious intent to deceive initially, just lack of knowledge.

This was after a call from a mate asking me to get him a couple of games… a trip to Big W, got him Titanfall 2 for $35 but being unable to price match Doom as I couldn't find anything online to show the deal as legit - she wouldn't accept the multiple Ozbargainers saying "Wow, $18!!!" on this thread… :)

Then decided Deus Ex MD was ludicrously cheap, so bagged that too. I should charge my mate for costing me another $35.

Oh, and another thought about finding "sold out" stock. I found a stash of price-checked games by the barcode scanners in both Big W and Target which someone(s) had obv. decided it was too onerous to return to the XBox shelves in the next aisle. Worth having a look around if there's no stock on the games shelves. You might get lucky.

To play it on, I got my (sorry, I meant to say, my KIDS') XBox One from JB - grey BF1 edition (download code) + hard copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Ordered it online this morning and got the collection ready notification just as I was about to head home.
1 month free EA access included, and 2 weeks Games with Gold
(also allegedly 30% off 6 months GWG, printed on the box - given I paid $52 for 12 months recently, $34 for 6 months isn't too tempting).

Now to hide it for a month whilst secretly setting it up for "them". Not playing games, you understand, just "setting it up". And a little testing.
And flog the Battlefield 1 code to subsidise my other purchases.

Phew. Thanks to all here who helped make this both a frantic and satisfying morbing!

just picked up Dishonored, Watch Dogs and Tomb Raider from EB games pricematched to Target. They didn't have any titanfall but had over 300 at warehouse so said they'll post (free) that out to me from warehouse as well. Can't wait for my 8 weeks off work before xmas ;)

Can confirm Target Mornington has lots of ps4 title stock. Just picked up titanfall, cod and doom at the prices OP listed. Although doom was marked on shelf for $36 still scanned as $18

Hey guys just got back from JB in south wharf (VIC) as I read some of these comments and got iffy about stock. I got titanfall for 35, call of duty for 49 and 2k17 for 52! The guy knew all the prices already and service was top notch, gave me some advice on other games abd he was happy to price match doom for 18 bucks but I wasn't so keen on it.

Didn't have to show them anything either.

Big W Warnbro (WA) had 2 copies of both XBONE and PS4 Titanfall 2's when I was there about an hour ago, i personally was after Watch Dogs 2 and got EB to price match it, but they didn't have the standard only the deluxe edition. So they gave me that instead for $52, i love that EB, they have never said know to a price match :)

There are no more Titanfall 2 or Rise of TB PS4 in Target Camberwell but it has a lot of copies for Doom PS4 and few copies for other games. Managed to pricematch at nearby JB without any problem.

Merrylands has lots of copies of everything except TF2 on Xbox (a few on PS4). They have 1 left as of this post (because I refunded it). The girl at EB price matched no questions asked once I showed her the ad so try there if Target runs out of stock for what you want.

No TF2 XB1 at Brisbane Carindale Target but there were a few copies of the PS4 version. Lots of other stock though (loads of CoD). Ended up getting TF2 at EBGames pricematched to Target (they didn't know about the $35 BigW one so I settled for $36). I noticed that EB must be reducing their prices for a number of games too as some of the TF2 stock was priced at the discounted $47 and some were still priced at the full $99.95.

Needed Fallout 4 for PS4. Went to Perth CBD yesterday at lunch time, didn't have it and had very limited copies of the other games too.

Went to Target Cockburn Gateway today and got it! :D

They have a fair amount of some of the other games like Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2, COD IW (around 15 each). Didn't check for Titanfall 2 though.

Is skyrim worth getting?

I have very rarely buy new games when released or pre orders but a while back i placed orders with microsoft as they have free microsoft vouchers through groupon.
It was $25 off.
At the time got two chatpads,recore for half price.
And also bf1,mafia,call of duty,watch dogs 2,Dishonered 2 cant remember if there was more.
Bf1 cost me $54 and so did mafia at the time best price around and sometimes going by game prices they take there time to go down.

I then grabbed titanfall 2 of ebay for like 62 i think i had discount on that cant remember or if that was price paid. Was sold out fast and lowest by about $15 anywhere.

Then this deal comes up and guess what my watch dogs and Dishonered 2 was on there way.
The rest of games even with $25 off was like $60 each so pretty gutted of all them new games i been buying with discounts.
Would have saved at least $50 if not more from all these deals if only i knew.

I did get $10 store credits from them for pre order but im finding you cant stack lol and there games are so over priced.
I wonder when microsoft have there sales on as they sure never had any for black friday.

Skyrim is not a bad price i can get it for $59 with $20 off but thats still even overpriced.

Dont you hate it when you buy these things its cheaper than anywhere at time but these prices are so crazy low compared to others even overseas.
