    I guess it'd be a 720p TN panel right?… or not even that? D:

1GB really doesn't cut it. But, marshmallow is nice, that's something. $90 could be a lot to go towards an actual usable tablet from geekbuying though.

I got excited when I got the catalog. Then read the 1GB RAM and moved on with my life.

        Agreed

People here how are after a cheap tablet - anything with 1gb of RAM stay away from it!

    • I agree, you could get a reasonable tablet for not much more from Geekbuying. 1GB RAM Is just not enough now. Not bad for what it is, but could still be better for the price they're asking for it.

      • Geekbuying is having a 72 hour sale soon, but there's a bunch of these with similar specs so it's hard to choose. Are they all pretty much the same in terms of quality?

        • @ Diji,

My apologies for the lateness of my reply, and for leaving it until after the Thanksgiving weekend sales.

Geekbuying isn't bad for cheap tech deals. Also try gearbest.com. Depending on your needs, budget and preferred O/S you can find some decent bargains at either site. Remember to sign up to their email list as well as they will send out deals fairly regularly.

    • The ONIX brand is really, really bad. A lot of their past products have extremely high return rates.

    • Don't bother,
Blank screen on Netflix app (sound only)

      Poor pic quality on youtube

No volume button, you must slide screen to adjust it / on screen cobtrol

Stutter operation for quadcore? , more like 1/4 core

Speakers equals to mcdonalds drive through

  • Wonder if it's Pokemon Go compatible?
using Android 6 sd card memory reconfiguration & tether a data connection.

What would an extra 1GB of a low-end RAM cost these days on the production side? 5 bucks? So why not a 2GB version for $94.99? I don't understand this nonsense.

Old stocks of tablet mainboards perhaps?

    • Good point.

  • Looks pretty average for the price, nothing special

notices it's 10 inch and not the 7 or so I had in my head for some reason

Okay, that's pretty good for the price.

  • Whirlpool thread has some very uncomplimentary comments.

    • If it's like earlier Onix tablets, there will be a backdoor for the Chinese to install apps you don't need or want.

  • I used my last tablet for reading ebooks and the odd Web browse, I need to replace it, surely 1gb will be enough to get me through?

  • So I picked one up. The screen is very cheap. Good enough for reading ebooks but HD YouTube videos is grainy as. For $90 I can't complain so far and I can always return it within the 60 days. A win win I'd say

I'm looking for a tablet to run a Dart Scoring app and to use for Chromecast and nothing else really. Any thoughts on this one?

    • Don't get these ones. They are only useful as photo frame or something with 1024x600 with no software support whatsoever and useful only as rubbish.

      • Thanks I'll leave it alone.

  • These are rebranded BAUNH ones. Just generally bad build quality. Get them and tell your kid its an Ipad for Christmas. Not a bargain also regular retail.
