    Personally I think the most interesting thing they have in stock is not on sale: the WiFi smart switch based on the ESP8266 (https://www.itead.cc/smart-home/sonoff-wifi-wireless-switch.…) - ignoring legality and/or safety of wiring it in etc.

    Mind you, you can find that unit on ebay for less (~$8-9AU inc shipping).

    Anyway, the cool thing about it is that you can re-flash it with new code to make it do your bidding. Mind you, the non-volatile memory size isn't specified so whether it is big enough to install the ESP8266 Lua, MicroPython, or Arduino interpreters who can say. Also, looking at the circuit board I'd be wearing big rubber gloves when hooking it up to the computer to re-flash.

    To reprogram, you also need a way to connect to it via a serial link (e.g. FTDI adapter)

    (The coolest thing they don't have in stock in my view is the power-consumption-measuring version of the above: https://www.itead.cc/smart-home/sonoff-pow.html; that goes for notably more elsewhere)

        Sorry, let me clarify.

        I really like the products. When buying just one of the basic ESP8266 power unit, it is cheaper to buy from someone on ebay, but otherwise buying from you guys looks better (because of the balance of price and shipping).

        The comment in one review was interesting (http://tech.scargill.net/pow-th16-and-dual/):
        "We’ve had the discussion in the past about power, I would not take the 16 amps too literally nor the 10amps – maybe keep the maximum power 25% under what is being claimed – though the tracks are quite thick."

        I also much prefer the board layout of the Pow: Looks like better separation of the high and low voltage parts. Also, from one of the reviews you can reprogram the board from the top which means you don't need to mess around near the high voltage tracks (which is good, because dying by accidentally touching the track is bad).

    Today I get an email saying IM140315002 is out of stock which is the LCD screen and the most expensive item.
    That makes the rest of the order pointless considering the shipping cost and definitely no longer a bargain.

    FFS Itead, why can't you keep track of your stock and take the items off the site before anyone else places an order.
    Especially in this day and age.
    Just a waste of my time and waste of potentially ordering the item from another supplier using Black Friday sales.
    First time order with Itead and most likely the last time for me.
    Not impressed.
