I've been using this app for 5 years across three different OS (Win7,8,10) and this is hands-down the best universal remote in the game !

  • Just a quick question for anyone using this app. It seems to only work once your logged into Windows. So it runs at startup. Anyway to run it earlier so I can use the phone to log into Windows?

  • Gonna give it a shot! At that price, even half living up to its promise would be worth it.

  • Yeah, I've been using this app for ages and love it!

The only 1 thing I would like more is having a dedicated mic button to use as keyboard entries. I can do this but only by using the mic button within my swiftkey keyboard. There is a mic button in UR but it seems to be just for audio commands?

    • Never managed to get urserver to work on my raspberry pi. It's probably something I'm not doing but it didn't work "out of the box" for me.

  • Got this previously - will have to try and use it!

  • Is it possible to use this to remote control my TV, soundbar and bluray player? If so, how?
I've got an LG G4 which has an IR blaster.

Edit: Looks like they have a different app, Unified TV, for this purpose. It's also on sale for $1.35 USD at the moment.

  • Another positive vote for this app. I love it. Use it to control music while moving around the house. Or to control media center especially when the wireless keyboard goes walk about.

  • can you control ps4 with this ?
