Update: It's back on from 2am AEDT.

NameCheap are offering USD$1.16 .com, .net and .org domains with WhoisGuard (new registrations only, includes USD$0.18 ICANN fee) from 11pm to midnight tonight 2am to 3am today AEDT unless sold out prior.

Conditions:

Deals are based on a first come first serve basis.
ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) charges a mandatory annual fee of $0.18 for each domain registration. This will be added to the listed price for certain domains at the time of purchase.
Limit of two .com, .net and .org domains per customer

      Don't think it includes transfers…. 2 .com / .net / .org domains per customer according to the conditions

    Good luck buying. Always 500 errors. It's basically bait and switch. Namecheap do this all the time and never fortify their servers before a sale. It's bastard stuff.
