Great deal to vancouver!
Just tried searching for Sydney-Tampa during the cheapest periods and it returns fares of approx $1330, not $839, so good luck actually finding the cheap flights. also in the t&c it says these fares are "from" the advertised price, and are subject to currency movements

just called to enquire about the fares they are return
I've just called and inquired about the cheapest available fare:
in the cheapest Zone (Vancouver, Zone 1)
in the cheapest period (anything early October)
leaving from the cheapest airport (Sydney)…Guess what: it's over $1000! (I think it was about $1044 or so!)
It's still cheap, but IT IS ALMOST $200 MORE THAN ADVERTISED! The rep confirmed that this would be the cheapest fare possible. He excused the (so much higher) price with daily changes in taxes. Yeah right, so much!?
I hate it when an advertised price turns out to be wishful thinking. Why bother.

kudos to you, dman. If they actually had those fares they would have been super bargain! thanks for posting your find, it's not your fault if they bait advertise. Perhaps the simple SYD-LAX route turns out cheap, I didn't try.
Yea, Bestflight is actually part of Stella Travel Group who also own Harvey World Travel. Best Flight is more like an online billboard from them. And most of us know the "from" price we saw outside an travel agent never exist!!!
Go to the actual airlines website where the deal comes from. I can see Vancouver for a bit over $900
