Season pass for Halo Wars 2 currently marked as free on the Microsoft store. No idea if this is a permanent price or a glitch so might be worth grabbing now.

Edit: Looks like the deal is dead so I've marked it as expired.

    browsed to season pass on MS Store app, no buy button and "Halo Wars 2 Season Pass is not currently available"
    open link in Chrome, click the buy button, it logs me in, click buy button again, confirmed purchases.

    I likely only buy when it's mega cheap but good to have if it's free. I'm fast becoming a bit OCD when it comes to owning complete versions of games.

    For some reason the GET button is greyed out for me on Chrome :( Same thing happened when I tried to get the Borderlands deal from a few months back. Oh well plenty of Amex deals to focus on tomorrow to keep me busy. Still a good deal for the millions its working for. Thanks OP!

      I had the same issue. You need to add a payment option to your account (paypal/CC etc). It won't let you "purchase" without it.

    It's not out of the question that this is intended to be free to begin with. The phrasing "The Season Pass delivers regular updates that span more than six months" makes me think it'll be free 'content updates' rather than 'DLC'. I can't recall a Halo game with actual DLC, and (though I haven't played a Halo game on release recently), they do a few content-type updates for MP, I believe.

      Pretty sure its a glitch as it seems to be one of the drawcards of the Deluxe Edition, which looks to cost $20 more than the standard from EB Games.

    Considering it's advertised as being part of the Deluxe Edition, and not the base game, I'd guess that it's a glitch.

    Firstly:

    This is part of Xbox play anywhere, so you can use it on Xbox/PC

    Second, this is what companies deserve for planning season passes before the full game is even released. Its a way of saying "Hey, want the rest of the game? Pay another $60".

    Even if you purchase it on PC and intend to play on Xbox One, it says 'only available as a bundle' when you browse to it on the Xbox One store to download it.
