  • last time, the 20% was pretty good, this time i can't even get into the site :(

    • yeah i couldn't for a sec there, seems to be working fine now. 20% makes PS3 games nice and cheap!!

  • Oh that's lame, the headphones I want are out of stock!

  • Please note: cannot be used with any other on site offer.

Seems quite expensive even with the 20% off
    Kingston 2GB RAM-

    MyMem-$170 AUD
    CPL or any AUS store-$75AUD

You would have thought a place called mymemory would have competitive memory prices. Is there certain products that are cheap?

    • USB Flash memory and PS3 games are cheap from my experience.

    • +1

      I agree. Way too expensive.

I've always used http://www.upgradeable.com.au/ . They're based in St. Leonards, NSW, their service is nothing short of spectacular and they express post everything (for free!). They are definitely my recommendation.

    • 16gb Kingston USB Flash Drive

      30% off + 20% coupon

comes to ~$30 AUD delivered is pretty good

  • Thanks. Just picked up a 16gb memory card for my phone! It was already 40% off + an additional 20%.

  • 4 of the ps3 games i wanted were out of stock, didnt even say this when browsing. no positive from me. thanks anyhow.

  • got ps3 bluetooth headset, $32.32aud! hot from me

  • Great deal, I just bought the Archos Clipper 2GB for 15.99GBP, nice little MP3 player for exercising. I think the cheapest I saw from an Aussie seller was $70 + delivery

  • Good luck , I tried them once before my order was sitting for a week and i ended up cancelling after reading bad reviews.

    • Strange, i've had about a dozen orders with them and never had a problem.

  • +1

Just ordered a Transcend 8gb Class 10 SDHC card for $25.

    • AUD 30.00, still a good deal.

      • $30? I paid 25AUD with 20% off.

Ordered a couple of these AA/AAA battery packs . Seem to be the equivelent of eneloops which they have no stock of .

  • can anyone recommend a good value USB flash drive with decent read/write speed?
I've had quite a few dud drives (bought because they were dirt cheap)…so don't mind paying a little bit extra for fast speeds.

    • Why not get a class 6+ memory card and use a USB card reader instead?

  • i wonder if it applies to preorder games :P

  • 20% off an already discounted price = huge bargains

    • To be honest, the games from game.co.uk, gamestation.co.uk and gameplay are way cheaper. Just my 2 cents

      • not on the game I was keen to get. I purchased eyepet with the cam for 17.99GBP off mymemory. On the sites you mentioned they are all 29GBP…

      • how about the delivery? Do they deliver to Australia free?

        • sure do! Just look in their help section

          • @step_hen: He was referring to RJE91 comment about games being cheaper from game.co.uk, gamestation.co.uk and gameplay, in that they seem cheaper because they don't include shipping their price.

            • @ozhunter: You are right. the shipping price is 4.95 GBP to Australia, which is about $9. Actually the price of games on mymemory looks better.

  • About AUD$30 for this delivered is not bad:

    http://www.mymemory.co.uk/USB-Flash-Drives/Kingston/Kingston…

  • I got some legit Sennheiser CX300 II from them for like $30. RRP is $99 here.

  • there is a lot of websites that link with mymemory.co.uk, r4card.com.au, and quite few others like this and the products come from the channel islands.

the messenger bags are a steal at around $20

    • tell me about it.. got me one just then.. bargain! ;)

    • Yeah, got the small IdeaStyle one for about AU$10!

      • Yep, these will come in handy. Don't know how they operate with this free postage but its an awesome deal anyway

        • Pardon my ignorance, but what is a "messenger bag"
Also.. any good usb flash that cannot be readily obtained here? For important data only, gb size not important.

          • @Frantic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messenger_bag

"A messenger bag (also called a courier bag) is a type of sack, usually made out of some kind of cloth (natural or synthetic), that is worn over one shoulder with a strap that winds around the chest resting the bag on the lower back. Messenger bags are often used by bicycle messengers, though they are increasingly becoming an urban fashion icon. Some types of messenger bags are called carryalls."

Can't really help you with the USB, sorry.

  • Kingston SSD 128gb for about $270 AUD, all delivered

    cheapest on staticice is $319

  • Thanks! Finally I ordered my first Shure earphone! I got the Shure SE210 for $103, was expecting to pay $170-$180 from some where else. Failed to get the MadCatz Racing Wheel for my PS3 as the weight restriction :( Hope they had a lighter version

  • cheers.

  • +1

Damn too bad the 160GB Intel drives are sold out. At 20% off GBP 229 it would've been the cheapest deal on the planet.

I bought the Sennheiser PX100 Headphones for AUD $32.00 - an absolute bargain.

    • Grabbed to PX100's as well. Thanks for mentioning them I would have missed them otherwise.

      • np :)

If anyone spots another bargain product, be sure to post.

  • Where do you enter the code? On the Paypal checkout page?
I'm getting an invalid error message

edit: Nvm, I found the code input box.

  • has anyone actually has any experience with them and actually get the ordered item? The price looks insanely cheap and we all know that the shipping cost from UK to Australia is not cheap.

    • 10 orders. No problem at any stage. All my goods have arrived within week, week and a half tops.

It's surprised me a bit people saying they've had problems, actually. I - and to my knowledge the couple of friends who also use them - have never had any issues.

Have ordered PC games, Wii games, a couple of sticks of laptop memory, PS3 games etc. All arrived fine and in good time.

    • They get recommendation on whirlpool.

    • postage from the UK is not like the cost involved to send from Aus to the UK.. much cheaper..

    • 2 previous orders, no problems. I'd debate that the cost of shipping is not cheap - some companies seem to have done deals with the postal service - e.g. Book Depository… no idea of the specifics, but I'm certainly not complaining!

    • I ordered headphones from this deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/27778 last Tuesday, and got them today (Monday).

  • Highlights:

    Panasonic bluray 25gb 10spindle - $33
    16gb kingston usb - $33
    xbox games
    -GOW2 $18
-dancing stage universe 2 with mat $56

    out of stock
    <strike>Kaspersky 3 user license - $25</strike>
    <strike>Xbox 360 slim - $360</strike>

  • Camera Bag plus 8Gb class 10 card for AUD 43.00 great deal, lets see how long it takes to appear down here!

  • Missed out on the GAME/DSE 360 controller specials, but this isn't too bad.

Black wireless controller http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Xbox-360-Accessories/Microsoft/Xbo…, works about to be $32.50.

  • Also picked up a Gorillapod G1 flexible tripod thing… AU$21.65, retails for $29+ here. Yes, I'm aware you can get knockoffs of these from DealExtreme, but when the real thing is so cheap…

    • Thanks for pointing that out. Got the version with the suction cup.

  • Thanks for sharing.
Just ordered couples of headphones ;p

    • Just received an automatic email from MYMEMORY:

"Due to increased security for online orders, we ask for proof of address to be sent to us before we can dispatch your order.

This is a standard request on high value or first time international orders, to protect us and our customers from fraud.

Please forward a copy of your bank statement or a utility bill (gas, water, electricity etc.) by email to [email protected] or alternatively by fax to +44 8700 941039 (please include your order number)"

Thats what the first time customer has to do?

      • Dam I hate when you have to do that, a lot of online stores in AUS do it too.

      • I got the same email yesterday, but my problem is I paid via paypal and left my work address for delivery and how could I prove that address? :(

  • Looks like the offer has been extended

  • SSD sold out. i'm always freaking late :(

  • Just got an email saying my order has been dispatched, it is pretty early Monday morning in the UK, so that is pretty quick seeing they would have had an extremely busy weekend.

  • Mine has been dispatched too, I didn't get an email about confirming identity, etc, even though I'm a first time customer.

    • Mine too.

      • same here! Very quick to dispatch

  • Purchased 2 pairs of headphones - great prices - a bit less than half the best price I could find in Aus.

  • I've got my cx300 earphone today. It is great. Very nice and economic package.

  • still waiting for my order…wonder when it'll arrive

    • received mine last friday, no problems.

    • I received the bag, but not the GorillaPod, which is weird because I ordered them together and received shipping confirmation for both at around the same time… bit worried that it's been "lost" in the mail now, but they don't take enquiries for International orders until 21 days has elapsed.

  • Still waiting to receive my order as well.
It was shipped 6th or 7th of July.
    Should I be worried?

    • You're not allowed to be worried until the 28th July - their policy says that you have to wait 21 days :-(

      :-)

  • Depends what you had sent

I had 2 items sent on the 5th of July

Got the large item which came by postman asking for signature within a week.

Got the small item which just comes in the mail yesterday.

    • Huh. That's funny - me too - I got the large item (backpack) a while ago, and the small one (GorillaPod) still hasn't arrived. What's with that eh?

  • Good deal, but can get similar deals right here in australian stores as well. And there's the wait for shipping time.
