I got an email from RAC today regarding their new partnership:

As the Shell Coles Express fuel discount draws to a close on 6 February 2017, we're pleased to announce the launch of our Puma Energy member benefit.
So from today, you can save 4 cents per litre* off fuel at participating Puma Energy, Gull and Peak service stations across WA, just by showing your RAC membership card.

Offer valid from 5 December 2016 to 5 December 2024.

first i hear of PUMA Energy, Gull and Peak Service Stations

  • gaining these but losing Shell….fair trade

    Well, that's nice. /s

Guess I'll have to go back to Coles to get my 4c off per litre. I will pay 4c (or more) to NOT go to Puma, Gull or Peak - in fact, probably have been happily doing so for years.

Thanks for the comment. It was very informative. /s
It all comes from the same refinery in Kwinana, so I don't understand your brand snobbery.

    • Why not? Don't tell me you believe the marketing BS that the fuel is better quality from Shell/BP/Caltex

Minus vote for the 2 comments above me. All petrol heads avoid these stations as fuel tests have been done and proved to show BP/Shell are better quality especially where combustion timing is crucial.

Wrong. All fuel in WA comes from the same BP refinery in Kwinana. In WA it's all the same. You can't rely on fuel tests for stations over east where they get their fuels from multiple sources.

      • Is that sarcasm or can you link some evidence?

  • bloody good news for me, as there's just one down the road

  • Lots of Puma here in WA but can't remember where the hell a Gull is, unless you go.out of Perth.

Gull got bought by Puma years ago. Still a couple around when you search on fuelwatch by retailer.

    • They haven't rebranded all sites from Gull/Peak to Puma yet, albeit there are probably less then 10 in total in the Perth metro area now under those banners.

Symbolic when you think of a big cat killing a bird hahaha

on the flip side, the Puma servos that used to accept amex now don't :(
