    Nah, that's already been been covered by the "Time Machine" series, book 11, "Mission to World War II", they used to make choose your own adventure books in the 80's, god I loved their work.

  The problem with going back in time and killing Hitler any earlier is that someone even worse may have arisen to fill the void and the Allies might have lost the war. As my other half has pointed out, the world is getting very insular and right wing; which is the conditions that were evident in the 30s. Quite a scary time at the moment.
