          The LYO-L02 is supposed to be vodaphone's variant so should be the one to use.

          @redcreek200: My bad, the online site was http://www.unlock-code-store.com/. I did look at dc-unlocker but the downloaded executable got into trouble on my desktop so I gave it a miss. I did get Voda to unlock gratis eventually but I'm not saying how .. 😂 .. !!

    This is a solid phone for the price. Has a HD screen, way better camera than other cheapies, and is pretty smooth and snappy to use despite the 1 gb ram. Also came with a screen protector in the box.

    I sent a request to voda for an unlock, it took a few days but they sent the code for free. Working fine now on Telstra.

    If you're interested in getting a case, I bought one from eBay for the Y5 II which fit perfectly, though best to check the pics first to see if things line up right.

      It seems to fluctuate between in stock and unavailable, at least I was able to snag one after refreshing it 15-30 mins after showing unavailable.

      Perhaps they replenish stock manually for online sales..?

      I had an error that I needed to accept the privacy policy.
      I checked the form again. there was only one checkbox option.
      opened the gift card link in an incognito window and sure enough, there were two check boxes there. completed it in incognito and all worked.

          just over 48 hours.
          purchased on ebay, messaged seller the imei number, they said they will get the code, 2 days later code was received by email and I unlocked the phone.
          timing may be a mess at the moment with christmas and they said on the ebay page they do not work weekends.

      Camera seems to work well in low light, great resolution. I'm using Telechoice/Telstra in out of town location on GC where Optus and Voda don't reach and reception has not failed yet. Now $109 minus $50 rebate at Target instore without a coupon .. check online for stock … 😄 … !!

      Its running a quad core 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6735P. Don't know where you got your specs from but wrong phone there. I think the Y6 runs on the Snapdragon 210. This is the Y6 Elite.

    Anyone know why I cant connect to PC? I already enabled debugging mode….but the hisuite software still cant detect my phone..

      I just tried it and managed to get it connected. steps are below.

      1. Open hisuite on your laptop
      2. connect phone using usb
      3. Slide notification area down
      4. Tap on "Files" tab.
      5. Let the driver install on laptop.
      6. Then tap on photos tab and let another driver install
      7. A popup will appear and your device should connect to Hisuite.
