  • Nice.

    • 2nd gen. Only difference is silicone band.

      • Massive performance and battery life difference between the 1st and 2nd gen. Twice as much performance, for half as much battery usage.

  • Great price. But a shame you can't change the band out on these.

As far as I know, this was launched same time as the second gen. Don't think there was a 1st gen moto sport ?

    • No, there wasn't a 1st Gen Sport

  • I've been umming and ahhing about purchasing this watch - every time it drops around this price - but so many reports and reviews indicate it doesn't live up to it's own water resistance rating, which I think is crazy on a sports watch. And the heart rate measurement is only reasonably accurate when standing still.

I think this is the cheapest price shipped to AUS I have seen? Pulled the trigger. Even if it lasts a year at this price it is decent value until the next batch of watches (hopefully) come out next year.

EDIT: apparently it was $12USD cheaper on a previous post here not that long ago (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/279025) ! ($99 + delivery) For some reason this doesn't show up on camelx3

    • Yeah the US prices are crazy low. Amazon's very reasonable shipping costs make that market easily accessible.

  • With Pebble all but dead, this is looking pretty tempting right now.

Shame that pebble died, really hit a good market spot with their latest Kickstarter but not even 600% funding can save you from mismanagement it seems. See how long my Time Round stays useful

  • I just wish Android Gear 2.0 and a list of devices was out. I have a LG smart watch, it's good but the features coming to 2.0 make it much more tempting!

  • Thanks OP..

  • Thanks OP. Bought. - Great Xmas gift (though wish I could keep it for myself ;) )
Delivery now prob post Xmas though

PS. Used cashrewards, but after purchase noticed the 5.5% cashback excludes smart watches - bummer

  • Just got mine yesterday, black though and paid $195. Bought it for running, cycling and golf (last part being why I didn't get a Samsung Gear… lack of good golf apps). Used in the gym last night with some backbeat fit headphones (after I luckily found out that the LG music app lets you put music straight from your phone SD to the watch… Play Music only lets you put on music that was downloaded first). No drop outs. Heart rate data seems ok. And just realised how much I hate headphone wires in the gym.

  • ah all over now

Motorola isn't planning on releasing a Moto 360 successor anytime soon.

  • says 179 + 10 shipping?

    • Seems Amazon had sold out. Its gone to a 3rd party seller now. I will let the mods know that the deal expired.

      • dam, wanted that watch, oh well thanks

        • Back in stock now!

EDIT: And straight back to $129 :s?
EDIT 2: You can backorder (Back in stock Dec 10 apparently) by using Amazon as the seller (top option on this page).
