  • Good price for a nice looking headset, however overall the headset itself is crap.

    • Is there anything better at this price range?

      • +1

        Not really.

It's good for the price however you shouldn't expect much from it.

And also, don't be surprised if the headphones snap in half while putting it on/taking it off as it's really stiff.

        • thanks for the advice

    • How would you rate it out of 10?

      • Out of 10, I would give it a 5.

        Postivies:
        - Looks sexy

        Negative:
        - Breaks extremely easily (as the hinges are way to thin and made of plastic)
        - Mic doesn't work sometimes
        - Misleading: The fact that it's HP, one would think it's quality stuff, however it's far from it (reasons above and many more).

If you do plan on getting this headset please read reviews first before blindly buying it.

  • Bought one. Cheers.

    • Ugh just wasted $15. Oh well, they can just sit on the desk while I talk.

    • I love the comment from the guy who tried to repair his set with tape and a steel ruler after they broke twice. Along the lines of: They are now 40% electrical tape and 10% stainless steel and 50% crap! ;-) I think they need to ship a roll of electrical tape free with these at least given the comments from so many people who have to try and fix them to work a bit longer ;-)

Guess it shows how downhill HP have gotten - wonder how much longer they can sell crap stuff just because of their brandpower. I used to own some printers and whatnot of theirs a few years back, seemed good.

    • @daydream

      Was about to get it!

  • bought a couple of these off another site once, tight fit and prone to snapping, you could probably get better for the price.

  • Do yourselves a favor and get a Microsoft LX-3000 from MSY for $20. Much better sound quality and build quality.

    • Looks good buts it's $31 at MSY. Anywhere cheaper?

  • sorry, please delete
