    10% is just part of the ebay mark up that many companies charge compared to their own shops. It's usually higher when PayPal and shopping is included.

        Let alone another 2-5% when they are illegally skimming pips by not honouring billing currency and forcing their own apalling crrency rate. As businesses making a small margin on ecommerce, I bet they think it is the brightest and most profitable idea yet. However I'd wager the ozbargain community won't be having any of that, and neither are the whirlpool mob who are taking this to the FOS and ACCC.

        I'm not personally against ebay or paypal in any way, and am only sharing this as information that you can very well expect to get jacked at the checkout next time you make a purchase in a foreign currency. I also think that the merchants will be unimpressed to find out that customers are disgruntled by a rude confirmation email that they indeed paid more than was stated at the checkout, just so ebay and pp can skim even more.

      Yes, although it breaches eBay terms. It also means people might not find it as it's in the wrong category and not a lot of people would even know about this code, they've been running for months but usually aren't advertised anywhere on the website.
