Was shopping for my office kris kringle and came across this deal at Myer. Available both in store and online.

A set of 2x 250ml glasses normally retails $24.95, for $30 you can buy 2 sets (works out to be $7.50 per glass)
The deal is also available on the 350ml glasses, normally a set of 2x 350ml glasses costs $29.95, now it is $40 for 2 sets ($10 per glass)
This deal makes them cheaper than the 6 pack of glasses if going by price per glass.

I thought this would be a pretty nice christmas gift within budget - I plan to give one set away for the office KK and keep the other set for myself.

Search for prior deals show mixed response from ozbargain community - some people find they smash too easily but others report they are more durable than other brands. Also not as cheap as some other glassware brands but you are supposedly paying for Swiss design. Either way, they still make a nice pressie for christmas or a housewarming.

        i just measured ours, they are 250ml to the very top rim. I was thinking that they were smaller, say 150ml. they aren't big cups, not mug sized for sure.
        we find them just right for a big shot of coffee and a little milk, filled to about 1.5 - 2 cm from the top. I don't like too much milk but it's more than a dash.

      Which brand at Costco? Bodum Pavina same as this one? Just curious. If the same brand or same quality then Costco would be the go.

        Does the brand mean anything? I got Kmart ones for $2 each or so 2 years ago and still using them now.

          Aldi also does a set of 4 for about $7 (on sale a couple of times a year).

    Be careful of these glasses, i have had a couple shatter without any trauma, i just poured some coke in them, and the interior glass destroyed itself.

    They were not fake non branded ones, but bodum.

      i have had some bodum ones. after about 2 weeks of having them with normal use - no rough handling the lip on the glass started showing cracks.

    I've been using the Avanti brand instead for years and they've been awesome. No breaking even with my bad handling. And about half the price.

    Not the most durable glasses, had a couple crack on me (while being washed with warm soapy water). YMMV
