    Hello port3s,
    I have the BW-BR1 and it does turn off after 10min(?) of inactivity. Unforunately, there is no way of turning this feature off (not that I can think of…)
    Besides that, this is a very high quality bluetooth reciver.

    Do you have a link? I want to try it out and see if it is better than the FM Bluetooth receiver setup I currently have. It's only occasional use so would prefer to pay $5 rather than $15. I could only see Bluetooth Version 3.1 receivers for $5 on AliExpress.

      I've had a few from Ali. I'm using this one at the moment in my car (The 3.5mm slot is in the glove box so the range is less than a metre. Pairs fast and works great. Give a warning sound it when it needs a recharge. As usual Ali prices fluctuate, so look for similar and check the feedback. The one I have and another

    The Roidmi (which I have) is a different beast - it uses an FM transmitter whilst this uses the AUX-IN port. AUX-IN port based ones should sound better. I use the Roidmi for podcasts so its poorer sound doesn't particularly bother me.

    No, you'll need an amplified output for that purpose. This only provides a line-level output. You'll hear something, but it'll sound more like a whisper.

      Maybe not headphones but earphones/earbuds should work. From the webpage:- "And you can use the BW-BR1 with your earphone, make your earphone become a bluetooth earphone".
