One seller only sells to Amazon Prime members (could try the free trial? Might get you cheaper shipping), but the DealFisher vendor works.

They are full-size, closed, portable headphones. The XL headphone pads are recommended and some find them necessary: https://www.amazon.com/V-MODA-Memory-Cushions-Over-Ear-Headp…
The cans fold into the headband in a unique and compact way, plus it comes with a carry case that's about half the size of cases for other full-size headphones. From memory, reviews say every part of them is durable and well built.

Edit: The price has been dropping recently, and has dropped again today (by ~AUD $5). Title has been updated to reflect this.

Amazing price for some amazing cans. Bought these 2 years ago and still going strong with tremendous base

  • If anyone is thinking of spending money on headphones, look no further. definitely worth the $$$
I've bought many headphones over the past 10+ years, and you can't get any better than this one in the $100-500 price range.

    these cans are a must.

    worth every cent.

    • Better than B&O H6? Momentum 2? Philip Fidelio X2?

      • B&O H6 is great for classical IMO, but not electronic music with bass, hence I'd prefer the M100, as it does everything overall very good. B&O H6 is an awesome set, but for highs and mids focussed music I think

        Momentum 2 - on par, I think

Philip Fidelio X2 - didn't like the bass, not as tight as M100, and wasn't comfortable for me… so didn't keep for long enough to fully assess.

you can't get any better than this one in the $100-500 price range

That's a bold statement. Here is another similarly bold opinion.

yeah i had the cheaper version Crossfade LP but sold it. not sure why but quality is superb, bass is a lot.
construction is WAY BETTER than beat.. ups i say the ozb forbidden word

  • I got these and ended up giving my ATH-M50's away.

Store DJ asking for $399 😂

  • Cracking deal, might just be a (fancy) stocking filler at this price. As others have said, if you're in the market for closed cans, you won't do better than these without spending a lot more. Just a shame the other colours are not as cheap - the silver white is especially lovely.

    Thanks OP.

A fancy $245 stocking filler? Can you adopt me for Christmas?

Word of caution - these headphones are bass emphasised so will suit more modern, electronic bass driven music. As an indication the bass is emphasised about 8db over the mids. This beiing said, many people aren't audiophiles so perhaps won't even mind the emphasis. The quality will still be there no matter what.

  • Truly superb headphones for this price bracket. Highly recommend the M100's.

  • I really don't need any new headphones….but I order them anyway :/

  • Thanks man, I've always wanted one of these. Just waiting for the right price to come through.
