2-3 weeks ago with $298 at HN (after Amex CB) and $332 on ebay (10% sitewide) were amazing prices

a $24 discount off the current sonos promotional price is so so

      • +3

not everyone has amex, so considering this,it's a very good price.

If you have an Amex CB offer with Myer, you can currently pay $399 less $35 Amex cashback for $364 delivered plus Myer ONE points

Not sure that the price is brilliant, but not too bad.

Great speaker, I have a Play 1, Connect, 1st gen Play 5 and Play 3. I think the 3 isn't given enough love. Great for something compact in the kitchen for listening to the radio and playing some music at normal levels.

Having owned all 3 speakers i would highly recommend the play 1 over play 3. Sound quality about the same, cheaper and more compact. during sale you can properly pick up twin pack for just a little more than a play 3. with 2 in the room it sounds even more amazing

andy2 is right. unless you want to fill a specific space.

I'm not sure there is a right and wrong here. For exactly the reason you mention (filling a specific space with only one power point), I think it doesn't get much love. It is only marginally bigger than the Play 1, offers stereo and, to my ear, has a lot less distortion on the bass/midrange.

          Just an opinion.
