  • Just a note on the Star Wars merchandise, you have to purchase a single item worth $45 or more, not combined value of Star Wars merchandise over $45,to get the Rebel A-Wing Pilot. BTW, don't forget to click through Topcashback to get additional cash back too (currently 3%).

Does it say that? I just tried adding 4 cheap items and the freebie gets added to cart.

Ah, so the system got updated.. That's great! I tried on Friday and cheap items didn't work.

  • IMHO this is the perfect last chance to stock up any 'retire soon' products before they are gone!

    • Just checking, there's no benefit in saving VIP points for extra discounts and should just spend them asap right?

      • +1

Yes, unless you want to make a marginal gain by buying merchandises at full price while double VIP is on (any dollar value offset by VIP point redemption will not earn VIP points), and then use the points when you only earn normal VIP rate.. I didn't bother doing this, I rather have saving upfront.

Not really in time for Christmas though, they take about 15 days

      That is true.

Moot point. Everyday is Christmas when Lego is involved!

Other things to note: free shipping over $200, and they may charge you the equivalent in DMK (foreign currency) so unless you use a 28 degrees card you may incur international transaction fees. I don't know if this has been changed.

    • Good reminder. I always use Bankwest Platinum (similar to 28 degrees) just for peace of mind.

    • I thought it was because most credit cards now include a fee for transactions using overseas processors, regardless of the currency used. Lego is charging you in AUD but using a payment processor based overseas so you will be charged a foreign transaction fee.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter - as you said use a 28 Degrees or equivalent.

  • I keep wondering what the distribution process of Lego is, because I ordered over a week ago and it took only 2 days to make it to Australia but just sits at Alexandria hub, does Lego just enjoy storing it away and wait until there's a big enough batch to release?
