  • No NFC?
    That's a bit slack for a flagship

    • Seems to have NFC after some research, unless this is some special model…

How good is the CPU? At least it has band 28 (700MHz)

    • It is Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
700mhz doesn't indicates it is lte band 28, there are other bands use frequency closing to 700mhz, like band 28.

      • It's the A2017G model, which supports band 28.

      • What? 700mhz is band 28…. If it supports 700mhz then it supports band 28

          @Jesmon:
there are other bands use frequency closing to 700mhz, like band 28.

        • Bands 12, 13 and 14 all use 700 MHz (just to name a few)

        • @Nightshade: band 12 does, but 13 and 14 are all higher I think. But if it supports 700mhz then it will support both 12 and 28 as they are 700mhz?

        • @Jesmon: Not necessarily, which is why band 28 support is important

    • It's Snapdragon 820

AU version with Band 28 is $699 on the ZTE Australia site (Gold only).

    http://www.ztemobiles.com.au/presale_AXON_7.htm

From January 14 JBHIFI will be selling the Grey and Gold for $699.

If you then use the 5.5% (Groupon) or 5% (Cash Rewards) discount on wish cards to then buy you the same amount in JB value, the AU version will cost you $660.55 or $664.05

Not to forget the TRS if that applies, the phone comes down to just under $600

But would we miss out on the 2yrs VIP warranty package offer if we dont buy it during pre-sales?

      • +1

On Facebook it indicates that all the AU models will have the 2 year VIP service. Here's the link to what I found but you could ask ZTE directly.

cool good to know in case i get it…though I'm hoping the V20 would've come down enough by then and proved that there is no bootloop….I can dream cant i!?!

        • @homersyd:

Ha ha. Yes, dream that you should. That and the HTC 10 are overpriced.

The Huawei P9 just dropped to $599 but it won't keep up the pace for much longer.

I'm going to bite the bullet and get the Axon 7. Don't need a the cam to be great. I have a DSLR for that. Lol.
