      i actually had forgotten i had a swiss knife in carry on luggage a couple of years back…
      all they did was give me an envelope so i can post it back to my place, they wouldn't store it for me until i returned…

        Same here at Mascot, except no envelope.

        I just went back out to the main hall and hid it, and recovered it when I came back through Mascot 3 days later.

        A standard Officeworks pencil, or metal cased ball-point pen is 20 times more dangerous in the wrong hands than a small penknife.

  seriously, if you're able to take down a plane with a swiss army knife, i'm pretty sure you'd be hard-core enough to take it down bare-fisted … crazy airport people …

  out of curiosity, what would do more damage to a plane, a gunhole through a window, or a taser into the electronics?

    out of curiousity, couldnt you use something like an ipad to bring down a plane? smash the class and use that as a weapon ?

      No need for a taser, you could adapt any small device to send a surge with enough caps to store a large burst. Just like instant cameras with the flash, they can give quite a jolt.

    taser to the electronics would be pretty bad, unlike a gunhole you wouldn't know what was working and what wasn't.

    a gunhole is very small and you could just patch it up with something.
