is it just me or are these pointless? the laser points on how your holding the scissors so how is it stopping you from holding the scissors wonky?

So why post stuff you have no idea about ? this is for bargains ie semi usefull stuff at great prices !

Dont mean to be mean but read the wiki

        • cause it could be useful for others

Is it really that hard to skip over this if you have no interest in it, rather than putting down the poster? Sheesh, some people!

    • You mark where you want the cut to end and the laser draws the line for you.
Keep the laser pointed at the mark you made.

      Pretty simple.

Cheaper here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Sewing-Laser-Guided-Fabric-Scissors-C… ….but an interesting sounding product nonetheless!

Almost tempted to buy a pair for ~$3!

i believe the laser, which is projected as a line on the paper you are cutting, gives you a guide to a straight cut, the rest is up to eye/hand co-ordination!

    • which is kind of stupid cause if your bad with scissors this isn't going to help as the laser sight moves WITH you.

      • Exactly - its like attaching a laser to your head to help you walk in a straight line. WHAT - people can turn their heads and walk sideways?!

      • Thats why you place a mark to create a finishing point for your cut
The laser acts as the line you would normally draw and you keep the laser line pointed at the place you want your cut to end.

If you cut me in half, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

You know, I have one simple request.

And that is to have sharks with frikin' laser beams attached onto their heads. Now evidently my cycloptic collegue informs me that can't be done.

So here we are with scissors instead.

attach this to a sharks head.

    • Thwarted by Austen Powers yet again.

This post needs less scissors and more missiles.

It would be good if the laser could cut the paper!

I'll keep this around the house as an 'upgrade' for normal scissors. Once someone has done enough cutting they'll get "You have unlocked laser scope" like in Modern Warfare. If I can organise the same thing for the vaccuum cleaner and the clothes washer I'll be set.

  • hey i got two of these off ebay…(as a gimick) :D
but it only cost me under around $7 for both inc. shipping

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110475…

    they're pretty good quality too..
